@houndcl was the first and major whistleblower for the Time-of-day @naturemedicine paper, which resulted in significant investigations across biomedical field and subsequent editorial actions for the paper This had major impacts in saving research fundings and patient outcome. But in return @houndcl was banned from X Can @elonmusk and @nikitabier please look into this? And can big BioX & academic accounts please help retweeting for awareness too? #freehoundcl
Anthony@anthonystaj

so our guy @houndcl of infamy has had his appeal denied. guilty of questioning research. #freehoundcl @nikitabier

Very proud of our group today and especially Andrew Challenger's work looking at excess mortality in DLBCL patients- which persists even beyond 10 years from diagnosis. Needs to be considered in our trial designs! @DavidJCutter @graham74GC doi.org/10.1182/blooda…

In 1999, Tom Maniatis discovered something remarkable: neurons achieve self-avoidance via stochastic methylation of the protocadherin gene cluster. We've just discovered this locus is an evolvable in-vivo barcode across the human tissues: biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh… 🧵

something doesn't add up with this trial it's too good to be true if there was a polymarket, I'd wager it doesn't replicate

@EvidenceRounds This is dubious. Cohort is were defined by DLBCL. IRL prior to biopsy, we don't know what kind of lymphoma they have, or even if they have lymphoma, so doesn't inform practice. Also, in the <50 pts who received steroids, twice as many had necrotic, non-diagnostic first biopsies

Prebiopsy steroids don’t reduce diagnostic yield in lymphoma (DLBCL) A retrospective study confirmed biopsy type mattered most for yield (excisional > core >>> FNA)

Impact of IVIG on post-CAR survival #ASH25 - 430 pts, most LBCL & axicel - low IgA at 1 & 3 mos = increased NRM at all timepoints - low baseline IgM = worse PFS/OS - 20% got IVIG: no effect on NRM! No impact of IgG on survival! Provocative & supports selective use of IVIG. #lymsm

Sorry but I fail to see how what price the NHS pays for drugs (prices that the companies agreed to), leads to reduced investment in UK by pharma. Total BS. The two are not linked. R&D is a global business, UK sales is small fry.

I've been reporting in East Africa on the impact of President Trump's USAID cuts, and I find that not only are children dying in large numbers but the pace is accelerating as stockpiles run out and people grow weaker. I also obtained an internal Trump administration memo stating that the cost of shutting down USAID is $6.4 billion over two years. That sum could save more than 1 million children's lives; instead, it is being spent to to shut down programs that save lives. Help spread the word. nytimes.com/2025/09/20/opi…

A retrospective cohort study involving children born between 1996 and 2016 suggests a significant but small associated increased risk of hematologic cancer among those exposed to radiation from medical imaging.
