🚨 TV RATINGS: Fox News just had its 97th consecutive cable news quarterly win by audience, while CBS and ABC delivered their lowest-rated primetime first quarters of the 21st century. ‘The Five’ was the most watched cable news program in March with 4.1 million viewers. The show, hosted by @greggutfeld, @DanaPerino, @JesseBWatters and @JessicaTarlov, continued its historic streak as the top non-primetime program in cable news for an 18th consecutive quarter. Jesse Watters Primetime led in the advertiser coveted 25-54 demo, nabbing 387,000 A25-54 (3.7 million viewers).  Fox News’ ‘Special Report’ with @BretBaier had 3 million viewers, beating ‘CBS Evening News’ in 19 Markets, while ‘Fox & Friends’ surpassed ‘CBS Mornings’ in 23 markets. Compared to the previous quarter, Special Report grew 12% and 21% in overall viewership and the 25-54 demo, respectively. At 7 PM/ET, @IngrahamAngle led the competition with 2.9 million viewers, while @seanhannity (9 PM/ET) dominated his hour with 2.9 million viewers. From 9-11 AM/ET, America’s Newsroom with @DanaPerino and @BillHemmer dominated its timeslot with 2.1 million viewers and 191,000 in the 25-54 demo. At 11 AM/ET, The @HarrisFaulkner Focus drew the largest audience in its hour with 2.2 million viewers and 204,000 in 25-54. At 12 PM/ET, @OutnumberedFNC led cable news, also securing 2.2 million viewers and 201,000 in 25-54.  From 1-3 PM/ET, America Reports with @johnrobertsFox and @SandraSmithFox was the most-watched program, averaging 2.1 million viewers and 203,000 in 25-54, while The Story with @MarthaMacCallum drew the largest cable news audience at 3 PM/ET, nabbing 2.2 million viewers and 205,000 in 25-54. Yesterday on @BBCWorld, I discussed the Supreme Court's ruling in Chiles v. Salazar. The Court's 8–1 decision spans the ideological spectrum — a major victory for free speech and patient autonomy. The core principle: the government cannot strip a conversation of First Amendment protection simply by relabeling it a "treatment." When a patient voluntarily seeks talk therapy consistent with her own values and life goals, the state may not silence the therapist's side of that conversation based on viewpoint. Importantly, this is an as-applied ruling — it doesn't invalidate all conversion therapy laws. And get this — it straight-up lists stuff like measles (or measles-like rash/illness) right near the top of reported reactions, along with things like pancreatitis, diabetes mellitus, anaphylaxis, arthritis, encephalitis, pneumonia, nerve deafness, retinitis, epididymitis… and even death in some cases. The insert doesn’t claim it’s 100% safe or effective for everyone. In fact, it spells out a heap of warnings, contraindications, and things doctors are supposed to watch for. Makes you wonder why we’re not encouraged to read these before rolling up our sleeves (or letting our kids). Informed choice starts with seeing the fine print, right?
