Hi @x, please reinstate the @seamlessbayarea account! All we did was report a fraudulent account that was using our brand & name - we didn't violate any rules. It's clearly a mixup. But it's been over 72hrs since our appeal; we still got no explanation of what rules we broke.1/2

@ericlaw It’s only necessary for folks who have a catch-all rule to begin with, works automagically otherwise. It’s been on the internal “BCC etiquette” page for the past 5+ years IIRC. Definitely not a perfect solution, but it’s made my life nicer so wanted to pass it along.

@macmaxbh What percent of recipients do you suppose have done that?

Partner BCC'd an alias with a thousand people. Is it a career-limiting move to explain how email works?

@SwiftOnSecurity These entries are designed to cache which account should be used to authenticate to a given document. An update rolling out now should reduce unnecessary population of these keys.

@CloudflareHelp I deleted my Cloudflare account (cleanup) and now I get marketing emails (ex: “Improve page load times with Cloudflare Polish”) and the unsubscribe and contact support links go to a login page…but my login no longer works. How to resolve?

Wow, nobody can seem to agree on color coding for trash and recycling. Is blue paper or glass? Is red hazardous or metals? Is green paper, glass, or maybe compost? I’m leaning towards blue for paper, black for trash, yellow for bottles and cans.

@SwiftOnSecurity I checked with the experts and we’re definitely aware of and thinking through this scenario as part of our basic auth decommission work, and will share any updates in our ‘Basic Authentication and Exchange Online’ blog posts when we can.

@SwiftOnSecurity Correct; basic auth business EAS accounts won’t be upgraded to OAuth-based accounts; right now you have to remove and recreate them to do that. I know we’ve had discussions about that; not sure how they’ve evolved recently. Will check.

Systemic issue: Top5 security issue facing enterprise is password spraying against legacy mailbox protocols. In iOS, current behavior is to smother all protocol security upgrades even when user password expires. Changing this would do massive amounts to improve IT landscape.
