@akittenmonkey @HHSResponse Yeah because those standards of care have decades of research behind them. Also all vaccines have randomized placebo controlled trials I don’t know why you think they don’t? A quick google search would show you all you need!

@HHSResponse " standard of care " is the way you and hospitals cover your a$$es . Protocols & standards of care are what makes it acceptable for you to ignore the significantly flawed , short , none placebo trials you use for all jabs . why question it - its just a newborns life ?!

Secretary Kennedy refused to acknowledge the importance of vitamin K shots for newborns when I questioned him today. Now, @HHSGov is saying they were supportive of these shots all along. Secretary, can you clarify this? Can you encourage parents to give their babies the vitamin K shot before another baby goes without this lifesaving care?

@afcobra5 @thehealthb0t Also you fail to fully understand the market value of a cancer cure. If a company designed a medication to cure cancer they would make trillions of dollars. There’s no cabal out there trying to keep this hidden. It’s just a really thorny problem

@afcobra5 @thehealthb0t If you sat in a single lecture about cancer you would understand why this is wrong. There is no 1 “cure” for cancer. Cancer is not a single thing that can be targeted by 1 medication. It’s an extremely complex process and everyone’s cancer is different

Does anyone else find it odd that $200 billion is spent on cancer research every single year and the only thing to show for it is a 75% increase in cancer deaths since the 1990s?

@CheetohFingers @grochbegley No, they don’t. This is why markets work dude. Something innovative comes along and it’s weird at first but it’s also better and then eventually cheaper and then gets widely adopted. I’d love to ban cars in the downtown of major cities, but that’s not gonna happen.

None of my lefty friends like me for this but I am personally pro-Waymo. Driving is incredibly dangerous. We now have many studies that show Waymo’s are genuinely less dangerous. Ride share drivers’ jobs are not more important than saving lives.

Cool project: the DC Waymo delay dashboard tracks how many DC residents are dead because the mayor and city council keep demanding studies instead of allowing Waymo: tbhochman.github.io/dc-waymo-dashb…

@grochbegley Studies also show TNCs add vehicles to roads and make congestion worse. Yes Waymos are safer than humans, but their overall effect on cities needs more study. Also TNCs are private corporations competing against public transit for our transportation dollars so fuck them.

@KappaDoodles @jvl789 @BPop67 @simonmaechling That’s a ridiculous amount of conjecture, you have no idea what he “intended”. What he said was that the m in mRNA means modified, which it just doesn’t. mRNA is a term that’s been around for decades and means something specific. If he meant something else he could have said that!

In the post, the original author obviously pointed to modified mRNA. The second poster took his use of an acronym out of context, pretending he meant simple mRNA (messenger) and then someone community noted it as if it needs a note to remind anyone. 🙄 The poster intended the (modified) mRNA —that EVERYONE calls mRNA now, because the vaccine companies dropped using the original and actual acronym mmRNA. No one, including you, ever uses that acronym in public—we all say mRNA.

@BPop67 @KappaDoodles @jvl789 @simonmaechling I’m not sure what your point is then? They modified the medication to make it more stable in the body…. That’s how literally every medication works. It’s been proven to be safe by every measurement possible, why bring this up? Who cares??

Who are these people who don’t know the post responds to a person complaining about (mRNA) as in modified RNA — the same name used for the mRNA vaccines which contain modified mRNA, uridine replaced and human codon optimized mRNA sequences and protein stabilization. Your immune system interacts with the uridine modified mRNA differently, because the substitution is designed to avoid the ordinary innate clean-up system, resulting in longer circulation. Unfortunately the vaccine manufacturers—by way of the media—led people to believe it was just messenger RNA, while they insidiously dropped their former patent designation of — mmRNA—👇🏻 and equi-vocally used just mRNA to mean their modified mRNA, even though it contains immune modulating modifications.

@Tommy_Torkelson @peterk0578 @AndrewDBailey That’s a different sport that uses different statistics. No one ever uses totals for the NBA and you know this. You’re being purposefully obtuse to make a stupid argument just because you don’t like the guy. Let’s not be silly

Nikola Jokić is averaging 27.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, 10.8 assists and 1.4 steals in 34.8 minutes. He's the first player in NBA history to lead the league in rebounds per game and assists per game in the same season. He's on pace to set the all-time record for single-season box plus/minus. Jokić trails only Victor Wembanyama among MVP candidates in net rating swing, but he has played 327 more minutes than Wemby. Jokić leads the NBA in "points plus points generated by assists" per game at 53.4. Luka Dončić (52.9) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (48.2) are second and third, while Wembanyama (31.5) is 38th. With the exception of Spencer Jones, every Nugget with 100+ minutes alongside Jokić has a higher eFG% with Jokić than he has without him. Cameron Johnson (+12.9), Christian Braun (+24.0), Bruce Brown (+11.3), Aaron Gordon (+10.5) and Julian Strawther (+12.0) all have their eFG%s jump by at least 10 points when they play with Jokić. Jokić trails only Jalen Duren (64.3% of Duren's field goals are assisted) and Deandre Ayton (80.2% of Ayton's field goals are assisted) in true shooting percentage. 60.8% of Jokić's field goals are assisted, and the average distance from the hoop for his made field goals is 11.7 feet. The average distances for Duren's and Ayton's made field goals are 3.7 and 5.1 feet, respectively. Jokić leads the NBA in "actual" offensive estimated plus-minus. He leads the Huge Nerd Index. Jokić also leads the league in PER (player efficiency rating), in Opta Analyst's DRIP (daily-updated rating of individual performance, in DARKO DPM (daily adjusted and regressed Kalman optimized daily plus-minus) and in NBA dot com's PIE (player impact estimate). Jokić leads the league with 30 triple-doubles, while Jalen Johnson and Josh Giddey, who are second and third on that leaderboard, have combined for 25.

@dualfingerguns @TheRealRathole @ohJuliatweets It’s not technically a clotting factor and the presence of it in blood I don’t think would cause clotting issues. It’s involved in the production of clotting factors in the liver, so the liver cells use it to make active factors

@TheRealRathole @ohJuliatweets Vitamin K is a clotting factor so if enough of it passed through the placenta it’d clot up the placenta and blood flow to the foetus would either become very clotted or stop altogether.
