While praising a celebrity for losing weight can have devastating outcomes on young onlookers, attacking someone’s weight loss can have the same effect. nbcnews.to/3JSKJ1j
@homo_placidus@MonsDeangelo@RC_pedsMD@KristenL75@jane_BigFig@LadyLegalWriter I’d argue that it’s more nuanced than that. People struggle with infertility, miscarriages, painful memories associated with pregnancy. Bringing up pregnancy can be a complicated and hurtful topic. Which is why you should wait for someone to start that conversation themselves.
Someone just asked my due date. I am not pregnant. A reminder, once again, that unless a woman tells you she is pregnant, please don’t assume. It’s really hurtful.
@isle_mcelroy I once had this happen a few seconds too late, and a guy grabbed my hat and chucked it through the doors in the half-second before they closed, and I caught it. We exchanged high-signs and grins as the train pulled out of the station. Best mood-elevator of my life.
yes nyc is too expensive and the streets are icky with rats but sometimes when you’re leaving the subway your beanie falls out of your bag and everyone shouts YOUR HAT YOUR HAT and one man crouches down to scoop it up to your hands and it occurs to you, Ah, yes, I get it now
@morgan_390@thephilosotroll Well good thing you’re just a keyboard warrior and don’t actually wield any real power in any relevant situations that matter 😚
@morgan_390@thephilosotroll Wow you got one thing right finally- it wasn’t against the rules and it was prescribed by a doctor. Soooo not PED. Case closed thanks. Also it’s not lost on me that you’ve avoided referring to him with pronouns in all of these tweets, as I’m sure you’d use the incorrect one.
@maggiepb4@thephilosotroll Breggs was on testosterone. It wasn't against the rules because it was prescribed by a doctor to treat a medical condition. They should close that loophole.
@morgan_390@thephilosotroll Lol bud, you can’t just string random words together to create a made up thing like “super physiological levels of female testosterone” and try to pass it off as reality. You know damn well if Beggs truly was breaking any rules they would have used any excuse to oust him.
@maggiepb4@thephilosotroll Beggs was on super-physiological levels of female testosterone. That's a PED and should be an automatic disqualifier from the girls tournament.
@morgan_390@thephilosotroll Lol, incorrect. And if the issue is truly about him having higher levels of testosterone than his opponents, then they should have let him compete in the boys division. Not that complicated.
Cara Delevingne checked herself into rehab late last year, sparked in part by photos taken by paparazzi at the Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles in September cnn.it/3J3kAej
@Maladroithe I thought the punchline was going to be that she was having a fever hallucination, but then things got grounded in reality and that made the story even weirder??? What a read.
@JensKallmeyer@JoshuaPHilll SAP has this fun, lengthy, section on wiki btw. So glad the billionaire that runs it has you to back them up on twitter as they launder money through art auctions 🙃
@JoshuaPHilll At least the buyer of this painting, Hasso Plattner, the founder of SAP, immediately donated the painting to the Barberini foundation so it will be in a public collection and permanently on display. Better than an oligarch who puts it on the mantelpiece in his vacation home.
