I worked my ASS OFF at work this month I earned a decent bonus I haven't had a new home console since the Dreamcast in 1999 Wife surprised me with a brand new Series X (physical ofc) I was *originally* going to get a PS5 Pro with my bonus But Sony decided to raise their prices two days ago and I'm just not paying $900 for a PlayStation absolutely not, on principle Sure, there's a few exclusive titles I want to play but I don't care that much tbh Plus I like the Microsoft controllers significantly better even tho I have always been a PS person in the past I really just wanted the ability to play Code Veronica, and the occasional AAA title that isn't available on Switch So a week or so after the Sony accouncement I changed my mind and we agreed once we got a current gen console we would do a Series X It's crazy to have something new for once we have stepped into the 21st century PC Elitists- calm down. I don't want a gaming PC, I don't care that they're objectively better and more versatile don't be annoying please thanks Now to play my 25 year old game with state if the art hardware!!

@Tusk_4Real @Yshtola_rhul1 You get all the games for Xbox on PC with game pass, plus more on steam. With emulators there is no limit. Plus far cheaper to replace a few parts every few years, than buying a new console, and you can use the Xbox x remote on PC.

Observations Gleyber Torres had a helluva game. He came close to one bad decision while trying get the lead runner when the game was 8-6…but he got away with it. Dingler continues to take nice ABs. Would I hit for Colt Keith there? Maybe not….but Hinch has chased those matchups fairly relentlessly the last few years. It was a consistent move…and it worked out. Flaherty….he has moments where he looks nasty…then his focus wobbles or his mechanics go awry. Fetter is a golden God to some folks. He needs to get Flaherty straight. Drew Anderson and Spencer Torkelson are the targets of derision now. Anderson has only had three chances. They signed him to a deal where I doubt they’ll pull the plug very soon. He’s gotta do better…but he’ll get more shots. Tork? He’s played in 7 games…he had a good game in Game 1 in San Diego and a game tying RBI in Game 2…so really we’re talking about a 5 game period getting folks antsy in the britches. Calm down. McGonigle at SS works for me. Meadows looking okay today…

When I learned of this later, I thought, "That's truly befitting of the Queen of the UK Commonwealth!"This may seem like a trivial matter. However, there is at least one Japanese person who holds Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in high esteem because of this. I want the British people to know this.
