Annual reminder that Home Alone is a Christian movie. Watch this scene very carefully, where Kevin is drawn to the beauty and warmth of the church. As he walks inside to "O Holy Night", he hears the words "Fall on your knees, Oh hear the angel voices!" A sanctuary candle passes across the foreground, indicating that Christ is present inside the church. Kevin then has an encounter with a Christ figure: Old Man Marley. Kevin makes a confession to him, then shakes his hand and we see a bandage on Marley's hand. It's never explained why his hand is wounded, but earlier in the movie we saw that his hand was actually pierced ALL THE WAY THROUGH — like the nails driven through Christ's hands on the cross. At the end of the movie, Kevin cannot save himself from the burglars, and so Marley appears again to rescue him. Home Alone is a Christian movie.

The video of this incident is just as bad as it sounds. The priest is standing there, not doing anything remotely illegal, and without warning a masked DHS agent on the roof shoots him in the top of his head with a pepper ball.

My team and I were just blocked from accessing the Village of Broadview Municipal Building in Illinois. We were stopping for a quick bathroom break. This is a public building. The Village of Broadview receives at least $1 million in federal funding every year. This is how JB Pritzker and his cronies treat our law enforcement. Absolutely shameful.

If Juneteenth was really about emancipation, why not... September 22, 1862 when Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation? Or January 1, 1863 when the Proclamation took effect? Or December 18th, 1865 with the ratification of the 13th Amendment? Because it's not about emancipation, which was one of America's great moral achievements. It's about creating a summertime, race-based competitor two weeks before July 4th, which should be the most unifying civic holiday on the calendar.

A federal judge has overturned the ban on child drag shows in Tennessee. This begs the question - why are people so determined to perform drag shows for kids that they’d go through the trouble of suing for the right? Something is very wrong.
