@cynicalkittys @sharrond62 @jamesdavis6939 @parkrunUK Yes, but the vast majority of of courses I’ve attended are either laps or out n backs, so the quick runners always end up needing to overtake on what are usually narrow paths. That’s were the issues come from.

Given Rachel Reeves is in Davos, I'm just musing a little. While the Treasury is doing the impact assessment on the #FamilyFarmTax, including the broader economic hit on investment and growth across owner-managed businesses, perhaps they could also do an assessment on the impact of abolishing IHT altogether? It would be interesting to see whether the lost revenue would be offset by the economic impact of becoming a destination of choice for global wealth-generators keen to bring their assets, businesses and innovation into a country that pitched itself as the a welcoming destination, with the benefit of a legal system that is often the envy of the world. There must be a study out there somewhere. @TheIFS? @IEA? @rcolvile?
