I use FSD all the time and if the front camera is blocked, far less than this, it will immediately slow down and if it's too blocked it will disengage with the red steering wheel warning. I have no idea if this video had FSD on but I don't see how this happened based on any behavior I've seen in my car.

Here’s why @NHTSAGov deepened its probe into @Tesla FSD crashes today. FSD relies only on cameras to drive. Watch FSD's latest version, v14.2.2.5, rear-end a car because its camera is blinded by condensation. Get this defective software off the road.

Even their lawyer said they were on autopilot in the filing. "had Tesla's full self-driving (FSD) mode" "using the autopilot" "disengage the self-driving mode" The lawyer's words are carefully chosen here to avoid contempt.

'TERRIFYING': Dashcam video shows the moment a Tesla Cybertruck, allegedly operating in self-driving mode, nearly sent a Houston mom and her infant off a bridge before violently crashing into an overpass barrier. The woman claims she suffered multiple injuries from the incident and is now suing the automaker for $1 million.

@DirtyTesLa @WifeDirtyTesla Passed a major collision on my way home on FSD today. It’s just crazy how good it’s gotten. Navigated around debris and cars in a big intersection cautiously but smoothly. Better than a human.

Very impressed with @WifeDirtyTesla's willingness to let this play out. And wow, FSD is so good at responding to held stop/slow signs now!! The SECOND it flips from stop to slow, FSD proceeds

I'm not sure if it works on the Cybertruck, but on the Model Y I can put the sun visor up to block the camera. Then I only have to tap the steering wheel every minute or two, and if I'm really desperate, I can throw one of those weights on the wheel and fool the steering wheel sensor.

Tesla FSD is so incredibly good, I literally just sit here for hundreds of miles on my phone on X while the Cybertruck is yelling at me to pay attention. Can’t wait until the nagging is removed with FSD Unsupervised. I’ve driven over 25 hours in crazy traffic the last week 100% on FSD. It’s unreal, and safer than any human driver.

so is everybody getting back into the EV Business because it seems like all the Legacy auto makers are scaling back there EV business but they're all going to be partnering with Nvidia to make full self driving for their EV's just doesn't make any sense. Doesn't Nvidia need a company with high volume

NEWS: NVIDIA has announced that BYD, Geely, Isuzu and Nissan will use the company's DRIVE Hyperion platform to develop level 4 autonomous vehicle programs. Nvidia also introduced Alpamayo 1.5, "an upgrade that expands NVIDIA Alpamayo — an open portfolio of AI models, simulation frameworks and physical AI datasets for building safe, transparent, reasoning-based AVs — with an interactive, steerable reasoning model." Jensen Huang: The autonomous vehicle revolution is here, the first multitrillion-dollar robotics industry. Everything that moves will eventually be autonomous. The NVIDIA Hyperion platform and our Alpamayo open reasoning models give vehicles the ability to perceive their surroundings, reason through complex situations and act safely, making scalable, level 4 autonomy possible.”

@TevisDonny @SawyerMerritt NVIDIA doesn't even have a level two solution on the road yet, so how are they going to get to level four? Why isn't it going to take them as long as it's taking Tesla? Especially considering they don't have nearly the data that Tesla has.

And yet Cybercabs are starting to spill out of Austin anyways. What a complete douche that Musk fellow is, he never gets anything right, is always late, lies his boyish face off to us every chance he gets, has $1T in the bank, makes Nazi salutes and all the rest of any horrible stuff you can throw at him huh? /s Take a trip to Austin, ride in a Robotaxi and open that trap door you might call a brain.

Can you imagine what Elon’s staring at in the mirror right now? Billions dumped into FSD. A gleaming new Cybercab factory. Told investors two months ago: “FSD is 100% solved.” Pilot robotaxis already loose in cities. Production lines spinning. Yet it’s vaporware. FSD doesn’t work. The team knows. The walls are slamming shut and the con is over. Or… maybe you’re the idiot, everything’s on track, and the bears are already cooked. Your move.

@nymbusjp My FSD does 99% of my drives and technically it could do 100% but I'd rather park quickly and close to where I'm going, which is the only area it's not perfect at and isn't relevant for robo taxis or unsupervised driving.

I'm one of the biggest Tesla fans around. But can we stop saying FSD is solved. Please We have one Unsupervised Robotaxi in one small geofence in a geofence with limited operating hours. That is not "solved" Ashok helping to oversee Macrohard to get things sorted out does not mean FSD is solved. It means Elon wants his brilliant mind to speedrun getting xAI back on track and integrated with Tesla's team, structure and tools Does Tesla internally have 14.3 waiting in the wings to launch with Cybercab next month that will scale and "solve" it? Possibly Do I think Tesla is going to "solve" FSD soon. Of course But until that actually happens and we move beyond one Unsupervised Robotaxi, let's relax and not exaggerate data points for clicks $TSLA

It just cost me $40 to fill up my Honda Civic today. It hasn’t been this expensive since Joe Biden and Kamala were in office. I officially regret my vote for Trump and I will be voting for whoever the Democratic candidate is in 2028 as a form of protest. I don’t care that the Democratic Party stands for aborting unborn babies, transing kids, men in women’s spaces, forced medical mandates, open borders, sanctuary cities, defunding the police, rigging elections, waving foreign flags, burning the American flag, high taxes, aligning with terrorists, anti-ICE…I will accept ALL of it because I am angry that gas is $3.70 again!!! 😡

@SawyerMerritt Not a Tesla hater. I own 2 of them but these Cybercab seats need some help. They just seem a bit plain in comparison to the Tesla performance seats or Lucid seats shown in the photos and the Tesla screen is nice but not panoramic like many other vehicles.

@cps23800 @niccruzpatane There's a reason why the company's value has plummeted. It's heading in a straight line towards bankruptcy without a miracle. Without the $7,500 subsidies, I doubt they'll be able to remotely sell enough of these to turn things around.
