Like, if your shit has to be torn down because it’s empty and dangerous maybe you don’t get to own that dirt patch anymore

The two derelict properties that caught fire and killed three @BaltimoreFire firefighters yesterday have assessed values of $6,000- which means that the slumlords only pay $141/year in city & state property taxes- which doesn't cover the cost of a routine 911 call for service.
