Hard pass. - More Gain-of-function research in 12 new bioweapon labs - Mask, Vaccine, and Vaccine Passport mandates - $70,000 Congressional Pay Raises - $60B more to Ukraine - DC Sports Stadium - Congress blocking subpoenas for their communications data - Expanded Emergency powers - Legal Process Quashing - Expansion of the Government Censorship Center - Changing the term “Offender" to "Justice Involved Individual” - Elimination of the word “homeless” - Allowing lawmakers to opt out of Obamacare

Hard to imagine anything more heartless than shutting down the government and leaving disaster victims out in the cold just days before Christmas. Absolutely outrageous this is even a possibility.

No, representative Breyer, that’s not true. He’s trying to hold you accountable to governing the will of the people and to stop the waste. This bill includes money for bio labs. It includes measures that will hold members of the House immune from wrongdoing . It includes measures that will allow big Pharma to remain immune from vaccine experimentation. It prevents the release of records involving members of the House involved in sexual harassment scandals. It gives you guys a 40% raise. You and the ones who support this nonsense are the ones who are insane.

@TheEricBland I would say if you're going express your displeasure or concern regarding a cabinet pick, the least you can do is afford him the respect of spelling and getting his name correct. However, I fully 100% respect your right to your opinion and to express said opinion.

I know this post is going to bring a lot of incoming heat my way, but it should be thought-provoking. I really dont care. There is no question that more than 50% of the voting citizens in our country want significant fundamental change in the way the government runs, foreign policy is implemented, how the CIA and FBI are run and most importantly what goes on in the department of defense. I get it. But being as old as I am, there is a stark comparative difference between some of the cabinet nominees today, such as Matt Gaetz, Pete Hegslep, Kash Patel, Tulsi Gabbard and Robert Kennedy and their character and intelligence when comparing them to intellectual heavy weights, such as Don Rumsfeld, George Schultz, Colin Powell, Condi Rice, Jim Baker, Ed Meese, Madeline Albright just to name a few cabinet officials in past administrations. The difference is like night and day. The nominees today are not intellectually curious, have little or no sense of history or democracy and all they want to do is throw hand grenades, and blow up departments. They don’t have policy proposals other than dismantling government. The problem is that 50% of the country doesn’t even know these historical cabinet heavyweights so there’s nothing to compare these lightweight nominees today to those in the past. It’s really sad.
