I'll just say it like it is. Y'all may flame me for this but THINK ABOUT IT FOR ONE SECOND. Macs are a better gaming platform than Windows PCs. We have Metal, Memory protection by default, detectable by a system toggle that you can check and tell the user to piss right off if it's disabled, and for that reason doesn't require kernel level spyware to continuously pry into your system like a Big Brother Watchdog looking for cheats. Shame NOBODY WANTS TO USE IT! IT'S THE PERFECT PLATFORM FOR COMPETITIVE GAMING!

this is something i think about a lot when i play minecraft like the new textures only really look better when youre making beautiful extremely detailed houses, anything simple made with easy to farm materials just looks disgusting but with the old textures it looks good

said this before, but one of the things I noticed over the past 10 years is how a lot of the things in the FOSS space are becoming user-hostile for no reason, and one of the most glaring symptoms is people foregoing hosting installers on SourceForge in favor of GitHub (cont.)
