@TIA568B Quite a useful app called “repeater” that may also yield results for you depending on where you are in Scotland. Listen in on the Recieve frequency of a local repeater.

@TIA568B Duel band 2m / 70cm on it so try listening on the ham bands (145.500 calling 2m) and (433.500 calling 70cm) - Google PMR446 frequencies too.

Then increase the diversity of CoG’s by recruiting independent NEDs to sit in on quarterly board style sessions much like the NHS do with trustees. #wecops

Every finance house is independent - but they all have to adhere to the common framework, systems and controls.

@YorkshireSgt Find a special who works private sector and is a hiring manager - many will help, and they straddle that life between the worlds. Or drop a DM - I’ll happily chat over things.

@YorkshireSgt Many…. It’s just a case of translating them to help the private sector understand: crime investigation (problem solving, project management, stakeholder engagement) etc. hard skills in risk management, loads of soft skills too

So, one time, many years ago, I was driving, and saw a bunch of guys walking, one of them had a pet rock on a leash and was dragging it. I stopped, and asked if he was friendly, this man proceeded to tell me he was the best rock ever, and well trained. Just felt like sharing🤷‍♂️

Brighton City Airport parking scam, of which ONE SOLUTION PARKING LTD enforce it, I bought and paid for parking, then sent an £80.00 parking ticket, appealed via the One Parking Solution appeals and refused, then taken to Parking Appeals and thrown out at first stage. Why oh why are you using a firm that intimates paying customers to your airport ? @fly_brighton #scam #parking

@brightonsnapper So you’ve won so to speak; the parking firm have rolled over and cancelled the charge, and in doing so have notified Polpa the appeal is withdrawn…. Which doesn’t sit well, as they’re clearly avoiding scrutiny and no admission of error on their side 🤦🏻‍♂️
