This is what your service uptime looks like when you try to implement AI into existing processes that have been in place for years @github

i was daily driving zed as a replacement to vscode, but its git integration is really broken, at least on windows when working on something with claude code i have the git panel open almost permanently, sometimes it loses the track of file changes, or when i commit something it looks like i haven't in the ui, so i still see an old state pretty annoying to restart the program every time this happens, haven't tried it on arch yet since i prefer to use nvim with lazygit, but we'll see how it goes

@codesdoes I do! I kind of like it, too! If you have any suggesions on things similar to Vite, I'm all ears! The main thing that attracted me to Vite was the HMR stuff. I made a custom plugin for wgsl files and hot reloading just works! (after a bunch of work to actually process the files)

Vite is neat and all, but I wish it came with a way to glob arbitrary levels of subfolders for dynamic imports.

@martinetbn @godotengine @unity @UnrealEngine 100% vibe coded, 0 lines of code written by hand, even the assets were generated using agents. Agents use Nanobanana to create a reference image > Tripo3D API for model generation > Blender MCP > Rigging/Topology Repair > Import to Project.

Day #14 vibe coding a game in @godotengine Today we worked on enemies and AI.. Built a scout drone and basic enemies, ai, and pathfinding. It's possible to build real games, not just casual web games with AI right now. @unity and @UnrealEngine are going to be forever playing catchup because their engines have decades of design decisions based on human interactions. Their plan for "casual games" is just weird. Let me build what I want, or get out of the way.

@imdavidoliver 99% of the time I’d use a low opacity black there too. Unless something might appear behind and you need it to be opaque. 😄

i was trying @rive_app after watching the tutorial series, and i LOVED every aspect of it, but the deal breaker for me was how the component system was kind of overcomplicated i get the idea of it, but just trying to setup a button component with a view model in it, was a bit of a pain my thinking is the following: if i create a component, chances are that i'll want to instantiate that component multiple times with different values, could it be that want to reuse the values of a certain instance? yeah, could be, but it's a more specific use-case maybe, instead of having to create multiples instances of the view model for whatever amount of component instances i want to have with different values, automate that and let the app handle new instances when a component is instantiated, and from there, just add the option to reuse the data of an instance, which i think is a more specific use-case youtu.be/HRUr9mnh41A
