Stop targeting journalists in Ukraine. I am Ukrainian independent journalist Maryna Mishchenko. I report on political prisoners and wartime abuses. I also serve as Deputy Head of the Committee for the Protection of Political Prisoners on a voluntary basis. Because I cover politically motivated cases, including the unlawful prosecutions of MP Oleksandr Dubinsky @Dubinsky_pro, former Head of the SBU Office in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Oleh Kulinich, former Head of the SBU Office in Kharkiv Region Roman Dudin, and human rights defender Anatolii Budnyk – a coordinated network of websites, pages and Telegram channels has launched targeted attacks against me and my family. They publish my photos without consent, twist my statements and label me with slurs such as “Kremlin louse” and “traitor”. In the comments, people post threatening messages and calls for violence. This is not debate. This is political harassment and an attempt to silence a journalist who reports on corruption, abuse of power and violations of due process. These attacks violate Articles 6, 8 and 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights and create real danger for my family, including a Ukrainian military veteran. I ask @RSF_inter, @coe, @osce_rfom and other international human rights organizations to record this case, monitor it, and help safeguard journalists reporting on politically sensitive issues. Freedom of speech stops existing the moment it becomes a privilege for one side. Please help keep this case visible. @uncensoredbeat

ЗАЯВА 25 грудня 2025 року, після мого затримання одразу після виходу із ДУ «Київський слідчий ізолятор», мене було доставлено в Державне бюро розслідувань за адресою: м. Київ, вул. С. Петлюри, 15. Перебуваючи там, я зазначив, що мені необхідно прийняти ліки від тиску. Тривалий час мені не дозволяли це зробити, після чого принесли 2 пляшки води, які я вимушений був випити для вживання таблеток. Наступного дня я відчув погіршення самопочуття, яке пов’язав із стресовою ситуацією. Однак, протягом наступних тижнів, стан здоров’я стрімко погіршувався. 14 березня 2026 року у мене по всьому тілу з’явилося почервоніння у вигляді суцільних плям із пухирями. 14-16 березня медичною службою ДУ «Київський слідчий ізолятор» неодноразово робили ін’єкції димедролу та гормональних препаратів, у зв’язку із тим, що відбувалось онеміння слизової оболонки горла та губ. 17 березня мною були здані аналізи для дослідження біохімічних властивостей крові. В результаті проведення тестування, було встановлено, на мій організм не впливають жодні алергени. Водночас, виявлено зміну формули крові та значне її загущення. Відповідно до попереднього висновку експертів зазначене вказує на тривале отруєння організму невстановленою речовиною. З метою встановлення речовини необхідно провести додаткове обстеження ДНК волосся та нігтьових пластин. У зв’язку із тим, що протягом 3,5 років я перебуваю в одиночній камері та не вживаю жодних заборонених речовин, а отримати відповідне пошкодження формули крові унаслідок побутового отруєння неможливо – вважаю, що отруєння мене невстановленою речовиною відбулось 25 грудня 2025 року у приміщенні Державного бюро розслідувань. Вказане стало можливим із прямої вказівки керівництва вказаної структури за погодженням із керівництвом України. Мотивом цього заходу є знищення мене, як свідка повної неспроможності влади та втрати нею контролю на початку повномасштабного військового вторгнення. До замаху на вбивство причетні – О. Сухачов, І. Гейда, М. Аурсаліді та керівник спецпідрозділу ДБР, котрі були безпосередньо присутні в той день у ДБР і, ймовірно, здійснювали певні маніпуляції з водою разом із прокурором Генеральної прокуратури В. Фомченковим. У якості зацікавлених у моїй смерті осіб прошу вважати В. Зеленського, А. Єрмака, О. Татарова, В. Малюка, В. Слюсарєва, О. Синєгубова, І. Терехова, Т. Єгорову-Луценко. Адміністрація Білого Дому чітко відрізняє питання з припинення комунікацій й перемовин з представниками вертикалі управління України та питання виходу з України. Як демонструє вже на сьогодні сучасна світова політика "без правил", США змінюють режими управління, але не полишають за зоною впливу і контролю "звільнені" території. Після майстер-класу США по Венесуелі, Білий Дім спроможний за 24 години провести "СВО" у власному виконанні, "евакуювати" (як Мадуро) на безпечну та підконтрольну територію, аби спитати за кожен вкрадений долар США та встановити "перехідне" управління. І це точно не буде "перехідна" вертикаль, сформована з представників Сороса чи глобалістів. Україна в Концепції національних безпекових інтересів входить в "десятку" пріоритетів. Тому за сприятливих умов і дієздатної влади Україна має шанс для співробітництва та взаємодії. За умов "відбитих наглухо" менеджерів Банкової, США все робитимуть без присутності української сторони. То ж сподівання на вихід США з України Макрона, Мерца, Кошти, Каллас тощо, є марними. Вже не кажучи про те, що Україна в зоні стратегічних інтересів Ізраїлю так само, як військового й найближчого союзника США на відміну від НАТО. Senator Mark Warner and his friends in the Propaganda Media have repeatedly lied to the American people that I or the ODNI “hid” a whistleblower complaint in a safe for eight months. This is a blatant lie. The truth: - I am not now, nor have I ever been, in possession or control of the Whistleblower’s complaint, so I obviously could not have “hidden” it in a safe. Biden-era IC Inspector General Tamara Johnson was in possession of and responsible for securing the complaint for months. - The first time I saw the whistleblower complaint was 2 weeks ago when I had to review it to provide guidance on how it should be securely shared with Congress. - As Vice Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator Warner knows very well that whistleblower complaints that contain highly classified and compartmented intelligence—even if they contain baseless allegations like this one—must be secured in a safe, which the Biden-era Inspector General Tamara Johnson did and her successor, Inspector General Chris Fox, continued to do. After IC Inspector General Fox hand-delivered the complaint to the Gang of 8, the complaint was returned to a safe where it remains, consistent with any information of such sensitivity. - Either Senator Warner knows these facts and is intentionally lying to the American people, or he doesn’t have a clue how these things work and is therefore not qualified to be in the U.S. Senate—and certainly not the Vice Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Here is a detailed chronology of the situation: - June 2025, I became aware that a whistleblower made a complaint against me that after further investigation, neither Biden-era IC Inspector General Tamara Johnson nor current IC Inspector General Chris Fox found the complaint to be credible. - The complaint required special handling and storage in a safe because the complainant chose to include highly sensitive information within the complaint itself rather than referencing the sensitive reporting and leaving the complaint at a lower level of classification. - Security standards for complaints that include such sensitive intelligence required the Inspector General to keep the complaint and the intelligence referenced secured in a safe from the time the complaint was made, until now. - In June 2025 after Biden-era Inspector General Tamara Johnson completed her review of the complaint, no further oversight or investigative activity took place. - Biden-era Inspector General Johnson had communicated with me directly throughout the course of her investigation into this complaint, yet neither she nor anyone from her office informed me that the Whistleblower chose to send the complaint to Congress which would require me to issue security instructions. - When a complaint is not found to be credible, there is no timeline under the law for the provision of security guidance. The "21 day" requirement that Senator Warner alleges I did not comply with, only applies when a complaint is determined by the Inspector General to be both urgent AND apparently credible. That was NOT the case here. - I was made aware of the need to provide security guidance by IC Inspector General Chris Fox on December 4, 2025, which he detailed in his letter to Congress. - I took immediate action to provide the security guidance to the Intelligence Community Inspector General who then shared the complaint and referenced intelligence with relevant members of Congress last week. Senator Warner's decision to spread lies and baseless accusations over the months for political gain, undermines our national security and is a disservice to the American people and the Intelligence Community.
