@masundah @jacksonhinklle I was passing through the Straits of Hormuz since 1990. Each time we went through at a modified GQ. We got voice calls from Iranians all the time asking and we told them to stand clear

🤣🇮🇷🇺🇸🇮🇱 Trump sent a U.S. Navy warship to break the Iranian blockade of the Strait of Hormuz amid today's negotiations He had the Israeli propaganda outlet Axios announce 'VICTORY' in the operation before the warship had even passed Iran then threatened to blow up the U.S. warship into a million pieces, prompting it to immediately stop & turn around... ANOTHER TRUMP FAILURE!

@masundah @jacksonhinklle Back in 1973 when Nixon mined Haiphong Harbor in North Vietnam no ships could enter. The results were the Hanoi air defenses went silent since no more resupply. Stayed that way until after treaty was signed and USN removed the mines. Iran doesn't have the capabilities

@masundah @jacksonhinklle Having spent 20 years as an officer in the USN I can tell you have no idea of what you are talking about. If there are "bombs" (actually in this case mines) then why would Iran say they would allow ships to pass? They can't be turned on and off

Civilians always pay the price of war. In Iran, strikes have hit schools, clinics, pharmacies, and hospitals, and at least 1,700 civilians have reportedly been killed. We need to permanently end this war. nytimes.com/interactive/20…

@Walley_Pike @zerohedge Just to help you out, Iran is not run using the Western type of politics. Also as it stands America will lose if no deal is reached. The US economy is taking major hits by blasting bombs whilst gaining zerobim return. US recession on books

🚨 This is who the world is being told to “negotiate” with. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, presented as a “moderate”, is chanting “Death to America”, issuing threats, and representing a system built on repression and fear. He has openly taken pride in expanding Iran’s missile program, saying the country reached a point where every city and province could host missile bases. This is not reform. This is not change. Same regime. Same ideology. Same hostility. Only the mask has changed. While Iranians risk their lives in the streets and prisons fill with those who dared to speak, the world is still shaking hands with the very people responsible. Iranians deserve better. Iranians deserve freedom. @POTUS @WhiteHouse @StateDept @marcorubio @JDVance @UN @UNHumanRights @EU_Commission @amnesty @hrw @Reuters @AP #DigitalBlackoutIran #KingRezaPahlavi #KingRezaPahlaviForIran

BREAKING: Iran and the US made no progress in the latest round of Islamabad talks, per Fars News. Iranian state media called the round a “last opportunity” to reach a framework. Iranian officials are saying “the ball is in the American court” to move off what they describe as “maximalist” demands, with the Strait of Hormuz remaining the central sticking point, per Tasnim. Talks have now broken for the night at 4 AM local time in Islamabad.

@MarioNawfal 2M a ship for a country of 100M people does nothing for them. Nor will they hold the straight when the vast majority of the world needs it. UAE, SAUDI and others will not tolerate it. This is so crazy people are taking Iranian State TV and media seriously.

Iran is making it seem they’re ready to walk out from the Pakistan negotiations without a deal And they’re not lying, they control the Straits of Hormuz and are printing money! However, they also don’t want to get bombed again. Many of their leaders have been assassinated, and whether they admit it or not, they’re terrified of Trump’s unpredictability So yes, they’re comfortable walking out without a deal, but they cannot risk pushing their luck too far and ending up assassinated I don’t envy the position they’re in, terrifying to be up against both the U.S. and Mossad 💀

No country would unreservedly tolerate hostile ships, capable of launching missiles that could strike its capital within minutes, freely transiting through its territorial waters. No amount of legal subterfuge, derived from whatever unratified treaties, would compel any sovereign state to gamble with its security in such a manner. Iran is no exception. Iran has the right, under a clear and transparent protocol, to regulate passage through the Strait of Hormouz in order to safeguard its vital interests while guaranteeing safe passage for all. This is in the best interest of all. The key to success in negotiations lies in adhering to common sense.

@RezaNasri1 No. A precedent has been set for years that ships pass freely. Attempting extortion on them now is a terrorist activity. Actually it will help the US as cargoes will head there instead of paying a ransom.

If the US/Iran talks somehow turn out to be successful — then it’s safe to assume that U.S. officials likely made some MAJOR concessions. Hopefully the U.S. isn’t getting so desperate that they over-compromise…
