@RobinBuxton3 I wonder how many thousands of staff hours a year are wasted in pointless briefings (and other meetings designed to the pointless roles of others) - they never existed when I started teaching. Glad I'm out of it now :D

I’ve had to cancel Monday am briefing (train late). I always feel that it lets staff down if they can’t start the week with the PE department announcing how great they are & the stupidly ambitious young teacher called Steve telling us to be ‘mindful’ about something irrelevant.
