@Xxan_dixx @InibeheEffiong Here yourself now if the money is even being properly accounted for that's is a different thing. Building a road to no where is not Nigeria problem now. Do you think if he borrows to build a new energy plant people will say anything

@InibeheEffiong I get his economic reforms are hard...but don't allow anyone deceive you... You need loans to fund the government. Saying that he's on a mission to "decimate" and "destroy" Nigeria is a bit too shallow even for a well educated lawyer like you.

Imagine you work in a company where you earn ₦75,000 monthly. You have a wife. Two kids. Responsibilities everywhere. Every month is survival mode. Then one day, a new CEO comes in. He reviews the system, blocks leakages, fixes what was broken and suddenly, the company starts making more money. Next thing, he announces: Your salary is increased five times. On top of that, new welfare packages are introduced: Your children’s school fees are supported You get healthcare access Food support is added For the first time, life feels a bit easier. Now here’s where it gets interesting… You have a friend in another company— he earns ₦1m, even more. That friend represents somewhere like Lagos State a place that has always had higher revenue, stronger systems, and more internally generated income. Now, compared to him, you’re still not there yet. But pause for a second Would you say nothing has changed in your life? Would you reject your own progress simply because Lagos is still ahead? This is where many people miss the point. Because this is not just a story. This is Nigeria from my perspective. The new CEO represents the President. The salary increase represents increased allocations to state governments. The welfare package represents what is going to local governments. So yes Lagos may still be ahead. But that does not cancel the fact that more resources are now coming in across the board. Which brings us to the real issue: If more money is coming in… Why are people not feeling it? If your salary increased and your life is still hard… If welfare was introduced and nothing has changed… Then maybe the problem is not the CEO. Maybe the problem is what is happening at your own level. Hold your governors accountable. Hold your local governments accountable. Because Lagos didn’t become Lagos by excuses it became Lagos by structure, systems, and responsibility. And progress is not about who is ahead of you. It’s about whether your own situation is improving. WHO IS YOUR GOVERNOR WHO IS YOUR LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji

These are the issues with you guys. Many of you just lack awareness. Tell me you people are not aware that a candidate who loses a party primary is generally not allowed under the new electoral act to move to another party to contest for the same election cycle? If Peter obi contest primary in ADC and lose then that’s the end.

Atiku has no plans to step down for Peter Obi. He is likely to influence the primaries with significant financial backing. Peter Obi is wealthy but not known for cutting corners. Aregbesola, David Mark, Okonkwo, and Dino are aligned with Atiku. If Peter Obi loses the primaries and decides to run under another party, a repeat of the 2023 presidential election outcome is likely. Atiku does not see Peter Obi as politically superior; rather, he appears to be leveraging Obi’s influence to gain power. Historically, Atiku has never stepped down for anyone, and it is unlikely he will start now.

@DanielRegha After all said, was expecting you to mention the name of the "saint" you're suggesting Nigerians to look towards; except you're saying the country should stay without leadership or continue with Tinubu? We know it can't be the former, so you're subtly campaigning for the latter.

ADC held a convention and many Nigerians are overly jubilating like it's a convention with new or visionary leaders in sight. The members: -Atiku, one of the people who formed the APC to oppose Jonathan and helped Buhari win. -Peter Obi, make pronises with no commitment. Former Atiku loyalist and someone who left PDP because of the criminal structure. Now he's back to base. -Kwankwaso: supported Buhari's political ambition back in the day, helping him rise to power. -Rotimi Amaechi, APC faithful who led Buhari's campaigns (twice) and who was appointed by Buhari as a minister for years, plus he also endorsed Tinubu's presidential dream. -Nasir El-Rufai, suported both Buhari and Tinubu's administrations. -David Mark, praised Buhari as a hero and a selfless leader. -Rauf Aregbesola, sang Buhari nonstop and acknowledged his leadership. The same leadership that led to the present APC which the ADC is against. -Dino Melaye, let's not even talk about that one. -Dele Momodu, earlier supported Buhari's presidency. -Solomon Dalung, was one of Buhari's appointees. -Ireti Kingibe, LP Senator turned ADC member. Babachir Lawal: ex APC faithful and even worked with the govt during Buhari's administration. These are just a few. So why the celebration? God help us.

So I tried turning on the generator today and it is not bringing light. I called the repairer and he said this part is faulty in the gen. He quoted 20k for the original and 18k for the Tokunbo. Does anyone know how much this actually costs? I hope I’m not being duped.

3 years ago, I saved up money to travel abroad. Visa approved, everything ready. My flight was in 2 weeks. I told my friends. Everyone was happy for me. At that time, I had about 7 close friends. Three of them were already living abroad. Since I was leaving soon, I decided to organize a farewell party for them and my girlfriend (now my ex). We lodged in a hotel, ate, drank and enjoyed ourselves all night. It was supposed to be a happy memory before my journey. But 4 days later, something strange started happening. I began to feel serious pain all over my body. At first I thought it was normal sickness. I bought medicine, but nothing worked. Each day the pain became worse. Soon it got to the point where I couldn’t even stand up from my bed. My people rushed me to the hospital. I spent 3 days there, but the doctors couldn’t find anything wrong. They transferred me to another hospital. Still nothing. After 2 more days, I was discharged. The doctors said they couldn’t trace any illness and advised my parents to look for another solution. My parents became very worried. They started taking me to different places, spending the money I had saved for my pocket expenses abroad. Finally, we went to a traditionalist. After checking me, he said something that shocked everyone. He said I had been poisoned. He also said if we had wasted two more days, I might not have survived. He started treatment immediately, but he said it would take 3 weeks for me to recover. Three weeks? My flight was already just days away. But my parents had no choice. They told him to continue. After about two weeks, I slowly started getting better. But by then, my flight was gone. The visa, the plans, the money… everything was lost. I had already sold most of my properties in Nigeria before preparing to travel. So I had to start my life all over again, even moving back to live with my mom. Till today, I’m still trying to find my feet again. One lesson I learned the hard way: Avoid bad friends.

@Kayakins111 @Tope_Orus I see people commenting i am just laughing, prolly they don’t own a business. Nigerians will teach you sense. It is simple, go to your bank, your bank will contact the bank of the restaurant to ask if she get value for first transaction. Her bank will help recover the money

I went to a restaurant to eat. After I finished my meal, my bill came up to ₦18,200. I made the first payment, but before the transaction could conclude, their POS machine suddenly went off. They quickly brought another POS, and that one went through successfully. Or so I thought. Later that evening, I received two debit alerts. Both payments had actually gone through. So instead of paying ₦18,200, I had paid ₦36,400. The next day, I went back to complain. They told me the accountant wasn’t on seat but that they would check and get back to me. I said, “No wahala,” and left. One week passed. No call. No refund. I went back again. This time, they checked properly and confirmed that yes, both payments went through. But again, the accountant was “not on seat.” I told them that this accountant’s seat must be extremely hot because the person is never there. They asked me to drop my account details for a refund. I did and left. Fast forward to yesterday. Still no refund. I went back to the restaurant and asked why my money hadn’t been sent. They told me I had “just missed” the accountant and that the refund would be processed shortly. Alright. Since I was already there, I ordered food to eat and also got takeout. After I finished, they asked how I wanted to pay—POS or transfer? I looked at them and said, “Who will I pay when the accountant is not on seat? Who will collect the money?” The lady replied, “The accountant doesn’t need to be here for that. We can all use the POS.” “Okay,” I said calmly. “How much is my total?” “₦18,500.” I smiled. “You people are owing me ₦18,200. If you deduct it from this ₦18,500, that means I’m owing you ₦300.” She shook her head. “We can’t deduct it like that. You have to pay in full, and the accountant will refund you later.” I sighed. “So that means you people will arrest me, abi?” I dramatically placed both my hands on the table and said, “Please, handcuff me.” She tried to explain, “We account for everything we sell. If we don’t reconcile today’s payment, they’ll fine us.” I leaned forward. “Are you people owing me ₦18,200?” “Yes.” “And I’ve just eaten ₦18,500?” “Yes.” “So I’m owing ₦300. Simple maths. Case closed.” I carried my bag and stood up. Suddenly, one guy emerged from one corner like a movie character. “But even if we’re to deduct it,” he said, “you’ll still have to balance ₦300.” I turned slowly. “And you are…?” “I’m the accountant.” I screamed, “Ewooooo!” So the accountant has been on seat all along?

@Tope_Orus They are not in position to refund U, that’s the job of ur bank. You should go to ur bank with the decline receipt from their pos, your bank knows what to do. If the payment was reversed to you, would you have return to them if they had allowed you leave after the first payment?

Abia people are celebrating that Alex Otti bought buses for intra state transportation. They called it “My UK experience in Abia”. Adams Oshiomhole bought 100 luxury buses in Edo state as far back as 2010 (16 years ago). In 2026 Alex Otti is being praised from doing what Oshiomhole did 16 years ago.
