My grandfather came to Britain in 1965.
He didn’t speak much English.
He worked night shifts in a factory in Birmingham.
He paid his taxes.
Kept his head down.
Never complained.
His son became a doctor.
His granddaughter is a tech engineer.
His great-grandchildren were born British.
Three generations. Zero crime. Zero benefits fraud. Zero debt to this country.
And still, STILL someone tells us to go home.
Where exactly is home supposed to be?

What did Charles actually do? He praised NATO in front of its loudest critic. He championed climate action in front of a climate denier. He called for interfaith dialogue during an administration that has banned citizens from Muslim-majority countries. He praised checks and balances on executive power to a room full of lawmakers who have been unable to exercise them. He referenced the Middle East crisis that is currently straining the alliance he was there to celebrate. He defended the Royal Navy after Trump publicly insulted it. And he did all of this while receiving standing ovations, bipartisan laughter, and a dinner invitation.

If @Keir_Starmer or @AngelaRayner had taken an undisclosed £5m from a billionaire in Thailand, it would be an outrage and It would dominate headlines for weeks and months
@Nigel_Farage does it and gets soft headlines, excuses and not a lot coverage

EXCL: Police are assessing evidence about donations to Robert Jenrick’s campaign to become Tory leader in 2024 after a referral from the elections watchdog.
Information was passed on by Electoral Commission, which is understood to have been investigating allegations that almost £40,000 of donations to his leadership campaign before he defected to Reform UK, were from foreign source in breach of electoral rules.

The amount of not only bad decisions which have gone against this season from a refereeing stand-point, but lack of consistency week-to-week is an absolute disgrace.
Not only do we have every single opposition team/fans in the country against us, feels like the referees are too.

🚨Dermot Gallagher says the yellow card showed to André for the tackle on Yves Bissouma was ‘fair’: 🗣️”He slips when he goes to make the tackle, no force and intensity, it's low.” 🗣️”Anthony Taylor got it right. He doesn't make the challenge he intended to make.” #THFC | #COYS

I am at a loss to understand why the government has done nothing to reform @ofcom which is not fit for purpose and has allowed Farage UK to have its own TV news channel; nothing to push back on the relentless bias and untruthfulness of most of our press; and nothing to respond to the capture of the BBC political coverage by the Gibb brigade.
