@sdav1986 Cost about £80 for this, compared with about 600 for Sonos (something like that) to use with existing ceiling speakers. Works fine. Should probably add dedicated dac, but am no audiophile

Unclear what @tconrad has done for @sonos since taking over as interim CEO and promising change. Are you short of ideas over there?

@gearpatrol What about with a pre-amp (I have a Cambridge audio) connect to Sonos Connect Gen 2. Tech1210…pre-amp…..connect….. done.

Dear @Sonos The app. So bad. Can’t group speakers. Constantly fails. Multiple clicks to add music. Can’t alter volume easily in a group (if that group can even be created). Cant can’t can’t. When will it be fixed/ back to what it was???

Dear @Patrick_Spence Can you please do the right thing and put a communication out regarding what is being done to resolve the new app issues. So many features gone. So many exist through multiple screen selections. So many features downgraded. With hope. Matt

@Sonos the issue with your app update is that it is an essential part of using your hardware without a good user interface and functionality in the app the physical speakers are so much less attractive or usable.

But Sonos has nuked that system's utility, and I cannot fathom a single possible reason for doing so. What grand strategy can possibly require not allowing users to arrange the songs they want to hear in the order they want to hear them?

So the forced update to my @Sonos app is easily the most mind-bogglingly terrible degradation of a previously beloved service I have experienced in my 59 years on planet Earth. Basic functionality has simply been...removed. Want to edit your queue? Fuck you -- you can't!

@RyanODonnell98 @Sonos Can’t mute single speakers in a group. Can’t adjust each speakers volume in that group ‘screen’. Can’t adjust the eq from the speaker volume pop up. Can’t adjust the volume limit from the speaker volume pop up. Etc etc.

@Sonos Missing a bunch of features guys! C’mon these are important things which you should’ve mentioned would be missing - Can’t add songs to queue/play next - Can’t directly add songs to a playlist - Can’t get to an album/artist from a playing song or one in a queue - No alarms
