I just received an email from DISCOVERY INSURE. They had a data breach. DISCOVERY told us they have revealed our address, contact details, IDs, every ITEM we have insured,value of everything - everything to make us a target! They don’t know who did it. They didn’t apologize! I am cancelling everything we have with Discovery. Including Sygnia’s medical aid. Our staff details might be compromised in the same way. Does a company read out your ID number, address and itemized insurance items over the phone? Plus values of everything? I want to know if it is internal fraud. I am complaining to regulators tomorrow. I suggest you check if you have or could be affected - I would check everything you have via Discovery. Every policy. Every investment. Medical aid. Vitality. Discovery Bank.

I have now sent at least 13 messages to @virginactiveSA since Friday in response to the constant excuses as to why I have not been paid! I quote “the full amount should reflect in 7-10 days” which was received on 31 January… it is now the 5th of March and nothing has been done!

Stop responding to me via DM! I want this conversation to be public so everyone can see how poor your customer service is!! It’s has now been over a month since you said my refund had been processed and there is NO sign of the money YOU owe me for over charging me!!!

29 days after being assured I would get my money back from @virginactiveSA and I am still waiting! You have my bank details as your debit my account every month!!! Let’s talk about the interest accrued since May last year. If the tables were turned, you’d expect me to pay it!

So if a client doesn’t pay on time, they get a default and threats about account closure or lawyers letters.. If a company over charges you and says they will refund you in 7-10 days, but it’s overdue, there are no consequences? @virginactiveSA #virginactive

@Discovery_SA doing their best to blindside clients and short change people. All the red tape and fine print on policies designed to make your life more difficult. A small thing like overcharging a client for gym and not reimbursing a years worth of overpaying!! @virginactiveSA
