the engineers who think there’s any value left in “being technical” are coping zero value left after loop engineering no, not even “context management and memory” or “optimizing token costs”

Homelab migration complete... bought a nice GEEKOM R7 6800H mini-PC to retire my old Core i5 4th-gen system (core homelab) and to re-home my Kalshi bots which formerly ran on my main rig (7700X/RTX 4080). Rig migrates to a quiet Ollama server for hosting open source LLMs

IaC was always such a beautiful idea with imperfections things always went sideways and you'd have to cleanup resources or state manually but now it's actually as magical as it could be because your agent deals with that for you

@funcOfJoe @thdxr Not specifically to agents, there are just a few key CF primitives that are missing and the CF api has some stateful behavior that makes it hard to integrate into custom Pulumi components

@mattnucc @thdxr 👀 Do agents have a hard time with anything specific to Cloudflare+Pulumi?

@thdxr Yeah I get it, but at a Pulumi based startup it makes the barrier for incremental adoption really high

@mattnucc oh yeah the workers platform side of things is tricky it's infra that also deeply seeps into your application so bridging all that together with a neutral IaC tool is awkward

@thdxr It’s better but No containers and durable objects are not very straightforward

@RhysSullivan not sure if i’ve seen an mcp with a get-skills tool could make a self-installing plugin possible but if you have access to the mcp, why not just install the plugin directly which bundles skills, chatgpt app, hooks

Are plugins just an MCP + skills? Why not just have the MCP ship skills then it’s standard across all clients

Terminal Threads are live in Zed v1.3.5! You can now run claude, amp, pi, or any terminal-based workflow as a managed thread in the Threads Sidebar, right next to your other agent threads.

@danrothenberg The opencode desktop has this, and so does Claude desktop now, where you can add comments when reviewing the code and the comments and line numbers get added as attachments to the next prompt

I'm looking for a tool that let's me interact with AI agents through a PR-style interface... e.g. I iterate with them on a dev or writing task, then I provide comments through a review interface to steer/fine-tune. Any such product out there worth trying?

@MaxRovensky Search “panel” in settings and set each to side you like. Sorry about disruption - we have a revert button but not working or showing for some users, working on a fix
