@USAEnergyNatGas I assume EU summer gas filling targets are putting upward pressure on their summer. With no/little Russian gas they are heavily reliant on US LNG imports. So, a balmy winter with added summer demand pushing the spread into contango.

@CityofCT for the second time in a month the refuse collection team didn’t collect my bin. This morning I saw them breaking glass bottles in the road and just leaving it there. They collected my neighbours’ bins but not mine. The vagabonds have now gotten into the bin too.

If I was younger, I'd be a power trader. US policy is causing huge market distortions, unmatched in years. In 5 years, the annual load increased by 25GW ish, but we retired 27GW ish of baseload, replacing it with intermittent power. Expect more volatility ahead

@JavierBlas do you have any insight on why Italian power is at such a large premium compared to other EU countries? A good 45% of their generation comes from burning gas, but they also import around 4-5GW every hour from France and Switzerland at an almost 30 Euro discount.

Would love to have a "chaos slider" for Spotify (or other AI recommendation engines) to turn up or down the specificity of the recommendations. Seems like I'm getting a lot of the same. Of course I reliably like a lot of it but... sometimes you want something new
