Striking Tehran’s Grand Bazaar, Israel warning people to avoid trains and stations, Trump threatening whole power grids, desalination plants, the nation’s bridges… Is this war still against the Iranian regime or now against a whole people?

Enough! If there was ever a red line in world history, we are here. It really doesn't matter if you are liberal or conservative, or who you voted for in the last election-- there is no way you can be a good American, good Christian, or good person if you support a leader that makes statements like this. If you try to dismiss this, try to explain it away as "good negotiating tactic", or try to justify it in any way, you are just a bad person. It's that simple. If you don't understand this, you just prove the point. The American people are not the Mafia or the mob. We don't threaten to kill whole families or civilizations if we don't get our way, especially if "getting our way" means stealing from and killing other people that have not attacked us. If our elected representatives can't understand this, don't have the moral courage to stand up and represent us the way they should, and reign in this megalomaniac, We The People will have no choice other than revolution. That's the point our revered founding fathers got to and that is where we are now. South Korea transferred 500,000 rounds of 155mm artillery ammunition to the U.S. in 2023 to replenish stocks depleted by security assistance to Ukraine. Poland, a critical frontline state, relies heavily on Korean hardware for its military procurement: look up where the chassis in the Krab self-propelled howitzer — another ornament of Ukrainian security assistance— comes from. Seoul has done quite a lot.

La portada del @TheEconomist de esta semana lo dice todo: Trump borroso en primer plano, Xi Jinping nítido al fondo, sonriendo. El título: “Nunca interrumpas a tu enemigo cuando está cometiendo un error.” China no disparó un solo misil. No necesitó hacerlo. Mientras Trump quema 850 Tomahawks, destroza su credibilidad con la OTAN y manda marines a una isla que no sabe cómo sostener, Beijing toma notas, firma contratos y espera la cumbre de mayo para negociar con un Trump debilitado. Lo que nadie está diciendo en voz alta es que esta guerra no la ganó ni EUA ni Irán, la está ganando Xi Jinping sin moverse de su silla. China controla el 70% de los paneles solares, baterías y vehículos eléctricos del mundo. Con el petróleo a 119 dólares el barril, todo ese inventario se vuelve oro. Los países del Golfo van a reconstruir con contratos chinos. Los europeos que querían frenar la avalancha de importaciones de Beijing ahora tienen otras prioridades. Y Trump, desesperado por cerrar un trato que no puede cerrar, va a llegar a esa cumbre con Xi en una posición que él mismo describió en su propio libro como la peor posible: oliendo a necesidad. El Economist lo plantea con una brutalidad elegante: el Trump de 2026 está ignorando los consejos del Trump de 1987. Su libro decía que lo peor en una negociación es parecer desesperado. Pues bien, Irán ya olió la sangre. La aprobación de Trump está en -20%. El 62% de los americanos rechaza una guerra terrestre. Y mientras Washington se enreda solo, China observa, planea y avanza. No es que China esté ganando la guerra. Es que está ganando el siglo — y lo está haciendo mientras su rival se destruye solo.

This is not about emotion. It is about battlefield reality. Here are the facts your industry refuses to acknowledge: In 2025 alone, Ukrainian drones carried out 819,737 confirmed strikes. They caused 90 percent of all Russian combat losses, more than all other weapons systems combined. TAF alone produces up to 100к FPV drones monthly. In any given 90-day period, my company’s products alone achieve more confirmed strikes than your entire fleet of equipment has across its full combat history in every conflict. And most importantly, I built this company and achieved these results in two years, not fifty. Think about that. Our drones generate more kinetic effect in three months than your flagship platforms have in half a century. Why? Because the battlefield has changed, and your business model has not. •Russian electronic warfare has made GPS-guided Western munitions such as Excalibur and GMLRS nearly ineffective. •Expensive and complex systems designed for wars with air superiority and traditional peer-to-peer combat have become easy prey for drones costing $500, attacking them from above. •The cost-to-effect ratio has been turned upside down: one 120 mm Rheinmetall shell or one anti-tank missile costs more than a dozen of our drones, and yet our drones still win. Спочатку Трамп пропонує керівнику Саудівської Аравії поцілувати його в дупу та критикує, натякаючи на дронове партнерство з Україною. Потім СЕО Rheinmetal називає украінських виробників дронів "домогосподарками". Ось, друзі, і почалася реальність. Коли наші дешеві та ефективні дрони стають кісткою в горлі для консервативних політиків та виробників зброї, які довгими десятиліттями рахували тільки кількість та дальність артснарядів, кількість броні та ТТХ літаків, з яких можна кидатися чавуном на відстані. Ми зламали ту реальність. Ми пишемо абсолютно нову історію. Ми формуємо абсолютно новий ринок. Ми ще довго будемо кісткою в горлі більшості світових виробників зброї. Це наша нова реальність.

The IDF Chief of Staff has warned that the IDF is on the verge of collapse after 900 straight days of war. This is what he told the government yesterday: 1) Reservists are being stretched to a breaking point across multiple active fronts simultaneously: Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, West Bank, and the Iranian front 2) No ultra-Orthodox conscription law has been passed, leaving thousands exempt from service in practice 3) The cabinet approved the legalization of dozens more outposts and farms in the West Bank, requiring additional troops to protect them 4) Jewish nationalist terrorism is surging in the West Bank, requiring an additional battalion to be deployed there, with possibly another needed soon 5) Mandatory service is set to shorten to 30 months in January 2027, the opposite of the IDF's request to extend it to 36 months 6) The government is avoiding passing the necessary laws (conscription, reserves, extended service) largely due to political pressures related to the Haredi exemption controversy The expansionist policies of the government are straining the army to the point of no return. The IDF cannot carry this load and will "collapse into itself" according to the Chief of Staff soon if the wars of expansion do not stop. Israel is simply not big enough and not rich enough to dominate the Middle East in the long-term.
