Porsche just dropped a $126k electric SUV that gets outperformed by a $95k Lucid in literally every metric that matters. Let me show you the math on why legacy auto is cooked. The Cayenne S Electric: 657 hp, 338 miles of range, 3.6s to 60mph. The Lucid Gravity: 828 hp, 450 miles of range, 3.4s to 60mph. You're paying $31,000 MORE for LESS performance and 112 fewer miles of range. Make it make sense. But wait, it gets worse for Porsche. Lucid has 10 more kWh of battery capacity, charges 2 minutes faster, and gives you 64 cubic feet MORE cargo space. You're literally paying a premium to get less of everything. What is being celebrated is not the boy memorizing 2000 mantras of the Shukla Yajurveda; it is the command he has over them. The Dandakrama is one of the most difficult patterns to follow during recitation (which was created to be a highly redundant encryption of the original mantras, to avoid errors creeping into oral transmission, but that story is for another day). Assume a simple mantra containing 6 words: 1 2 3 4 5 6. The pattern of recitation for this mantra will be: 12 12 21 12 23 321 12 23 34 4321 12 23 34 45 54321 12 23 34 45 56 654321 On average, a mantra will have between 6-15 words. Imagine reciting 2000 mantras in the above pattern, without mistake, from memory!

@pbeisel I won't be so confident on fsd being able to drive at the limit. Cars moving straight line and doing crazy maneuvers or drifts is very difficult to control. I won't be so confident on extreme limit handling unless I see fsd holding a drift or beating a human on the track

Understand the reality of v14 'Mad Max' mode. First, it shows Tesla’s confidence in v14 — that it’s been well tested internally and is miles safer than v13 (no pun intended). Second, anyone paying attention should recognize that a computer can execute “at-limit” driving far better than a human. And “Mad Max” mode isn’t even close to true at-limit driving. There’s simply no world where a human can process the possible list of dynamic objects 30 times per second for collision avoidance.
