@mrgrigoras44 @Runitup858 Hi. I'm trying to track down someone with your name in Australia. I had a package delivered to my home today with this name.

@TomisCrowley In Ballarat, I've only seen and heard people applauding the decision. Ballarat was never going to be prepared in time. I doubt that the motivation is financial; regional Victoria was never going to be prepared to run the Games in time, especially in Ballarat.

Over the last few months, I’ve been working on a little project with the ABC here in Australia to help people visualise their exposure in data breaches. This has just gone live today and I reckon they’ve done an amazing job, check it out: abc.net.au/news/2023-05-1…

Slide decks hide can shallow thinking. Narratively structured memos are harder to write because they require better thinking. It’s worth it.
Matthew Yglesias@mattyglesias
I see a lot of organizations relying too much on slide decks relative to actual written memos for their internal communications. Presentations are great but prose has a unique value in clarifying thought and creating an unambiguous record.

@MattyWTF1 Throw away the "follow a team per episode" template. Then observe the narrative of the season and tell that story.

Swift Playgrounds.
Not JavaScript/HTML/CSS, but a great way to get kids into "I can build stuff with code that I can see changing as I go." Once they've figured that out, then hit them with "you can do this and share it on the internet for anyone to use"
