@mats56455 However, there's truth in his findings, Donald Trump is loved by many Africans, his conservative ideologies, and fight against the agendists/Islam sympathisers earned him that love by those of us who oppose the leftist ideologies! Yes, Donald Trump is widely loved by Africans!

Dear Larry Madowo THIS IS FOR VISA RENEWAL PURPOSES It is misleading to claim that “Africans” support Donald Trump—full stop. Africa is far too diverse for that kind of sweeping generalization. If you are citing polls, present the data—sample size, sources, and methodology. You are lowering the standards of CNN which is highly regarded as wider media that cuts across the borders of USA. You have a responsibility to report accurately on the continent. Assertions without evidence risk spreading malicious narratives that do not reflect realities on the ground. Africans are not a single voice, and no individual can claim to represent them all. These are your personal views not for ME- @PaulKagame @SuluhuSamia @Sophie_Mokoena @sejudav @OfwonoOpondo @MimiNiMwafrika @engrICO2015 @voxafricana @africaupdates @MightiJamie @Africa_Conf @BBCAfrica @SirAlexKimutai @enkudheni @BaShonaBaShona @_AfricanUnion @Snduhukire @mildredtuhaise @KMutisi @SamsonMKasumba @panAfrican_Fnet @Presidency_GMB

@cdemlambo Dont just blame zanu though. Educated elites in the movement such as Prof Welsh and Biti also undermined MT nenyaya yechikoro. I remember even Kagoro refused to serve in MDC. That superciliousness was prevalent at the time. Yet MT had wisdom

𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘, 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗕𝗘 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗦’ 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦. Here is the irony of the Zimbabwean situation, Kudzai Mutisi. No Zimbabwean wants our former colonizers interfering in our internal affairs. However, we must recall that when the crimes against humanity of Rhodesia’s Unilateral Declaration of Independence, apartheid in South Africa, and the persecution of Palestinians took place, ZANU PF and the international community sought solidarity and assistance from the same Western capitals and multilateral institutions that pressured those governments to end their crimes against humanity. Even while we were under illegal U.S., UK, and EU sanctions, we also approached the UN Human Rights Council, and lobbied SADC, the AU, the U.S. Congress, human rights lawyers and even citizens of other Western countries to assist us in pressuring these governments to end the illegal sanctions they had on innocent Zimbabwean civilians—which they did. The whole reason people went to these nations and multilateral institutions is because those governments did not offer the innocent civilians they were persecuting justice through their local courts; they also persecuted those who complained, and suppressed their right to protest and complain against these injustices. Now, as the Zimbabwe Human Rights Council notes, the Zimbabwean government has reached a point where it too does not allow opponents of Constitutional Amendment Bill 3 to air their views, protest in the country, or express dissent, as such individuals are imprisoned, tortured, abducted or harangued into exile. As a consequence, Zimbabweans are displaced into foreign countries, where they are forced to protest before the same foreign governments that ZANU PF once approached for support during the liberation struggle to dislodge an oppressive regime. The tables have now turned, with ZANU PF increasingly playing the role of oppressor, depriving its own citizens of their fundamental rights to life, free speech, free thought, free movement and free association. All this is the result of a government that has shrunk democratic space, muzzling dissent and pushing activists to raise their concerns from foreign capitals, all to push a Bill without following the constitution. We warned that the approach being taken to extend the President’s term would lead to human rights violations, violence, and suppression of opposition in a way that would attract the attention of Western powers—potentially provoking responses that risk undermining the legacy the President is trying to build. We are living in a new era where even the most resource-rich nations can no longer conceal human rights abuses, as mobile phones and cameras now capture and broadcast international crimes, globally, in real time. This is not the time for ZANU PF to assume it can rule by “might is right” without expecting retaliation from nations that thrive off on the same principle. The problem the Zimbabwean government has now, is it no longer has an intelligence or advisors who tell leaders the truth to avoid national security risks.

@matinyarare @KMutisi You are conflating repetition with legitimacy. Using a 39-year-old tradition to justify the status quo ignores the fact that a democracy's strength is measured by its ability to adapt and improve, not its ability to survive on life support. Tradition is not a barrier to improve.

ONE MAN ONE VOTE was achieved in 1980… and it came in the form of a Parliamentary System… Returning the Parliamentary System is CORRECTING the mistake made when the Parliamentary System was removed. CAB 3 corrects that mistake!

This Independence Day, we WEAR BLACK to mourn those who died for the cause #OneManOneVote; to resist those who wish to entrench rule by the few over the many; and to stand in solidarity with all those in prison for standing up for the dignity of all. Join us! 🖤❤️💛💚

Most #Zimbabweans in politics are unprincipled opportunists. These are grown adults who have the right to make their own choices, and it shouldn’t always be blamed on their leader. It is normal to jump ship in politics except when it operates like a @ZANUPF_Official satanic Mafia
