@HackswithHaggs He’s probably one of the biggest disappointments this season. Bad penalties, bad turnovers, just not playing well.

It's time for Hampus Lindholm to wake up and realize he's playing in an NHL game today. He just stood and watched as 2 or 3 Blue Jackets players (understandably) roughed up Pastrnak after the late shot. To the point his helmet was knocked off. He looks very disengaged in this one

🚨SHOCKING: This was the moment when a 14-year-old boy fatally sh*ots 32-year-old Jeremy Brown at this restaurant on Chicago's South Side. Brown can be seen punching the boy's mother, Carlisha Hood. When bystanders did not intervene, the boy took his mothers firearm and sh*t. Prosecutors initially charged both mother and son with first-degree m*rder but dropped the charges shortly after reviewing evidence and footage. The boy was hailed by many as a hero for defending his mother.

I watched a HS Player with under 1 minute left in a tie game miss a shot, not run back on defense, and give up an open 3 …. And development coaches are still on here worried about ballhandling drills 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

With the recent rumours surrounding Justin Faulk and the Boston Bruins. I do a deep dive into the cost and if he is even worth the price at his age. #NHLBruins 🏒youtu.be/SnT_emmIajw

The #NHLBruins are in on 33YO Justin Faulk from STL. Blues are reportedly looking for a ‘Rasmus Andersson’ package in return. That's a STEEP price to pay for a soon-to-be 34YO with one year left on his deal ($6.5mil AAV). BOS needs a RHD, but Sweeney need to tread lightly here

The Bruins are in buy mode — and Justin Faulk is on their radar. Sources say the Bruins and Blues have discussed a potential deal for the veteran right-shot defenseman. Read more ⬇️ rg.org/en-ca/news/hoc…

I was the Justin Herbert vote. The guy had the worst offensive line in the NFL all season and despite that he was working miracles in almost every single game. Stafford's OL became 2/5ths as bad as Herbert's for 5 minutes and he became a turnover howitzer. He embodied 'value'.

The 4 hours I spent not knowing the Sox signed IKF were blissful. Are the Sox the only people in America who didn’t watch the World Series? IKF came up small REPEATEDLY. He didn’t know how to run the bases with the WS on the line because he’s never actually on base.

Bruins Blog #05 - The Trade Deadline Approaches Don Sweeney revealed his plan of action for this season’s trade deadline: addition with long-term commitment. Reports of a potential Rasmus Andersson trade to Boston were extinguished when he was acquired by the Stanley Cup-contending Vegas Golden Knights over two weeks ago. It would have filled the role behind Charlie McAvoy that is currently a revolving door between Henri Jokiharju, Andrew Peeke, and now Mason Lohrei. Lohrei has looked much better since being rumored in a potential trade to Calgary. Props to him, especially considering he’s been playing his off side. It’s clear Sweeney wants to turn this team into a Stanley Cup contender sooner rather than later, but he balked at acquiring a pure rental in Andersson, who refused to sign a contract extension with any new team. This team needs someone behind McAvoy who can kill penalties and play legitimate two-way hockey. Andersson would have been a good addition, but I’m fine with Sweeney not wanting to burn future assets for a pure rental. The Bruins are in a position of strength as they approach the March 6th trade deadline. Sweeney holds a solid prospect pool, plenty of draft picks, and is under no pressure to try to win a Stanley Cup this season. No need to push the poker chips all-in just yet. I do expect Sweeney to make a significant trade at the deadline that would help this team make the playoffs and be part of the new core along with David Pastrnak, Charlie McAvoy, and Jeremy Swayman. Forwards Viktor Arvidsson, Pavel Zacha, and Casey Mittelstadt have exceeded my expectations this season, and I do not expect them to be traded. Moving them for picks and/or prospects destroys the momentum built under Marco Sturm this season. Getting into the playoffs and identifying who can contribute in the postseason is more important than hoping some future player can be something special. Zacha (29 in April) and Mittelstadt (28 in November) are under contract for next season, costing a total of $10.5 million. Arvidsson is a pending free agent who turns 33 in April. It could come back next season as the hypothetical third line with good value. Fraser Minten would move to second-line center next to a hypothetical acquired top-6 winger like Jordan Kyrou, Connor Garland, or Alex Tuch. The Bruins could look like this next year… Geekie-Lindholm-Pastrnak Khusnutdinov-Minten-(Kyrou, Garland, Tuch) Mittelstadt-Zacha-Arvidsson Jeannot-Kuraly-Kastelic Top-6 Forward Targets Jordan Kyrou Under contract for 5 more years at $8.12M cap hit, Kyrou is a speed-and-skill right winger that I think would explode with a change of scenery. He’s often seen as too soft, but I see him as too fast and too skilled. The Bruins have enough piss and vinegar; they need more speed and skill. Connor Garland With 6 years and a $6M cap hit remaining on his deal, the 29-year-old reminds me of a younger Viktor Arvidsson. He could be the long-term answer in the top-9 for the foreseeable future if the price is right. Alex Tuch With Buffalo streaking towards the playoffs, I would assume a long-term deal with Alex Tuch is inevitable in Buffalo. If he actually does reach free agency, he might cost $10 million or more for at least 5 years as a 30-year-old UFA this summer. Too rich for my blood, and I would have to wait and see how he performs in the playoffs before giving him that much dough. Top-4 Defensemen Targets While Rasmus Andersson would be a solid fit behind Charlie McAvoy, he probably isn’t going to be worth over the $9 million per year he is asking for. I could see the Bruins targeting a rental who won’t cost as much in the long term. Zach Whitecloud (2x$2.75M after this season) might be an option, or maybe Connor Murphy (pending UFA), but it’s slim pickings when it comes to right-handed defensemen who play in the top-4. Obviously pending UFA Andrew Peeke is on the trade block as he’s struggled in Marco Sturm’s system. I could also see Henri Jokiharju used as a trade chip as the other underachieving RHD. Both players are better suited to third-pairing roles and are redundant on this current roster. Other options I could see on the trade block are Justin Faulk in St. Louis (1x$6.5m left) or Nick Perbix in Nashville (1x$2.75m). Sweeney has this team heading in the right direction, and I expect him to make at least one significant addition to keep this train rolling for this season and beyond. open.substack.com/pub/bruins/p/t…

2026 Stadium Series was the #NHL’s best outdoor game of 45 so far - not close. Scene. Vibes. Props. Show. Legit drama. Goalie fight. 4-goal comeback. Overtime. And Jon Cooper’s endless commitment to the bit in 38-degree weather in (!) Florida. What a night.

@MikeFromWoburn Ferraro "This is a great night for hockey" This hasn't been a great night Tampa literally needed the refs to take the game over to win and didnt call anything on Tampa after the first. It's a fraud comeback. But the NHL got what they wanted.
