I'm excited to announce that I founded @CapuchinCapital in 2025 to begin managing external capital. I owe an incredible thanks to the whole MicroCapClub and Twitter/X communities for supporting and mentoring me over the years. In particular @iancassel has always encouraged me to grow and achieve new things, and I look forward to what the future brings out on my own. As always, my DMs and website contact are open if you would like to connect!

Really good interview with @michael2017l. I always enjoy listening/talking to Micheal because, not only is he very smart but also he has just such a unique strategy that‘s sounds weird at first, but makes total sense once he explains it. Also, I totally agree with his learning re: predicting incremental buyers vs. fundamentals 3 years out. For me the experience has been the same.

Something I've been thinking on recently... Big tailwind over the last ~5 years has been PE buying out my small public companies. Most recently MRCR. I paid a little under 2x EV/FCF in early 2025. Bought out in early 2026. Obvious investment + lucky timing = great outcome. But what happens when the PE bonanza ends? Any profitable business going up for sale these days is getting two dozen bids. It's unbelievable. 2 of my largest positions today are probably destined for PE takeout. But there will come a time when those bids dry up. A lot of what I see in PE world scares the shit outta me. Though I'm no expert. I guess I just keep buying sound businesses with good balance sheets at cheap prices and prepare for my CAGR to drop. Value will always reveal itself in time. But man, it's been nice to sell into this PE bonanza. These are the good ole days.

I am sure this is only the beginning to a grand journey. Thank you so much for all the mentorship so far and best of luck with this!!

Since @michael2017l is too humble. Proud of you Michael - strong out of the gate with the shortest letters in the business. A good sign.

Not long enough… $pali , if you liked $EQ you’ll really like $pali can’t believe it went under the radar on UC data a few days ago. Raise today alleviates the cash concerns. So I bought some. Full disclosure my average is $1.10 so know the risk , but I think it could go crazy from here. We are in that type of market right now.

@thewritser I believe they are clearly copying ABIO/ORKA PR language without noticing that ABIO specified a T-1 end date to the due bills period. More at play right now is a potential short squeeze, not sure how much retail went short this AM.

Strange price action in $EPIX premarket. Seems crystal clear to me that shares are trading ex, as per the NASDAQ site and their own PR's. Shares trading about 100% higher than where I'd expect them to trade. Happy seller.

Thought the $ALTS crypto deal looked interesting with a heavily Trump-affiliated coin now trading at a 10% discount to NAV, but then noticed that they are pricing the $WLFI token contributed in the placement at a 300% premium to the last sale 😂

Most “genuises” on fintwit are one bad year away from looking like idiots, and most nobodies are one 20-bagger away from becoming legends. Don’t take it too seriously.

@leevalueroach If a stock is at multi-decade lows with the same CEO I would NOT back up the truck 😂

$SONM less than a week after receiving a $2.70/share buyout offer and pumping with a $1.90/share reverse merger LOI decides to raise $5.5m and dilute 80% at $0.75/share. Only in microcap land... newsfilecorp.com/release/257337

Just scanned over this so far, but even If I account for the full 10 mln from Gilead I´m at like 1.55$ per share as of end of June in net cash and even with small burn dwindling quite fast. Maybe small ppside from australian research credit (credited them 5 for this). Need decent amount of $ from other programs for this to work in my opinion, not a fan really tbh. calculating with 12 mln burn q2, 4 going forward per Q (they have to do some work for GILD still?) and 7.5 in onetime restructuring / winddown cost. Might pop on any PR maybe?
