I just had this problem, my project had just gotten so large, and the agent stopped doing what I wanted:
1. Stop vibe coding
2. Understand what you want to build
3. Document exactly what you want to build.
4. Compare what you have implemented with the requirements and document difference.
5. Start going task by task
6. Get exactly what you want
The best part you can do all of this without without having to mess with custom models/tools/permissions etc… I just use agent mode and standard Gemini/claude and I just added O3 to the mix as the results are amazing.
Also for tasks 4-5 O3 gave me the best results and make sure everything is documented in the code base for you to reference in your next convos

I feel like I have no idea how to get @cursor_ai to do what I want anymore.
Between the different modes, different models and UI/UX updates, I feel dumber than ever.
There was some inflection point in the last couple of months where everything just got…worse.
Just me?

@GrantAfseth Oh good, looks like we’re on the mend!

@spatiallyme This is cool. I can't wait for more shared experiences built-in to apps, like for movie watching, etc. Also, what's up with all the haters in the comments? lol — pessimism is like, so cool, man.

The future of mobile work – This fun Vision Pro experiment turned out to be actually pretty amazing! My business partner and I were traveling by train when I shared my virtual display with him, allowing us to collaborate on the same Figma file and brainstorm ideas for a client project.
This level of productivity simply wasn’t possible while traveling before—it truly feels like having a full office setup wherever you go. Beyond cool.

@selfhostedmind @levelsio Useful when needing to input your email online, but what about in person? I'm still trying to figure out the best way to tell someone a throwaway email (that I'll remember to use again) when they ask for it in person — like at stores.
English

Your email address is like a password these days
If it's publicly findable, it means you can easily be attacked with a phishing scam or 2FA hack
Your email address especially for the highest security apps should be something like:
t4qgp8rw5iuda10b@nonidentifiabledomainyouown.com
Impossible to guess, like a password

@RobCoxDFW I love this weekly series, Rob! Keep it up... for man.
English

@aarondfrancis Yep! We love it down here. No shortage of craft coffee shops 😁
English

@michaelmercer Ah nope. That's bishop arts right? Cool spot!
English

@aarondfrancis Ahh, nope. I could have sworn that was a street in Winnetka Heights!
English

@daileytj "Back in my day" big walls of text were reserved for the special cards. Now it's the norm, and I'm like... I ain't reading all that for just some uncommon.

@t3dotgg So what is the desktop resolution when mirroring? Is it adjustable? Like do you actually get more real estate?
English

@showp1984 @VadimYuryev Yes, you can extend your mac (and mouse and keyboard) to it wirelessly. That middle screen in the video is their mac. The other two screens to the sides are VP apps.
English

@VadimYuryev I believe it was denied in the keynote, but can you use it as a monitor (or multiple) for your Mac?
I would love to plug it into my MacBook, have power and as many screens in any size I want wherever I place them around me!
That’s a huge point buying this. It saves you displays.
English

@UncleRenty @VadimYuryev For productivity, surely you use an external monitor or two. Do those plug into the wall?
English

@VadimYuryev For productivity, I tend to work 8-12 hours per day. My M1 Max MacBook Pro can last a 22 hours on a charge. How long does this $5000 monitor last?

@KevinNaughtonJr I feel ya. I like building things, and coding is one of the more impactful ways for me to contribute in doing that. But I also like design, management and strategy. Whatever helps the most at any given time to make the thing reality.
English

@KevinNaughtonJr Some apps do this actually. Trim an extra space at the end, forgive a capital, etc. But yeah, probably not a good idea a lot of the time. Instead of improving password UX at this point, let’s ditch em! (Passkeys)
