Swear I’ve never seen world football so angry at a decision like the one Celtic have been given at Motherwell. People with no vested interest in Rangers, Celtic, Hearts or Scottish football whatsoever chipping in calling out how mental it was to give that as a penalty. Makes you sick Hearts could, and probably will, lose the league because of that.

@ibroxrocks Im with Rohl on this. Sounds like Tav is thinking he should be the priority and not the team and club. If thats how he has been acting all along, then maybe we have an explanation about the dressing room mentality. If he so much a leader there, stands to reason he sets example

Danny Rohl - this is not good enough. Four defeats in a row for Rangers should never happen. On Tav - today it showed me we need a strong cut, strong changes. We cannot have what we have had. I will not accept this. With Tav, I didn’t expect this (from him) today. On Monday I was told he needed an injection. I convinced him to move it so he could play tonight. I made my decision on the start. It is my decision not his. And finally he didn’t accept that and he stayed away from the team. I was looking forward to giving him minutes.

40 years ago I was adopted by a wonderful family and I shared a bedroom with my best pal. My brother. There wasn’t much money about and we couldn’t afford to attend many Hearts games. However, on match days/nights we’d regularly get the bus from Longstone to stand outside Tynecastle to hear the atmosphere. Just being near the historic stadium felt amazing. We’d jump up and down on the street when we heard the roar of the Hearts support when we scored. We’d then wait for the Hearts support to flood out of Tynie, onto Gorgie Road, and we’d walk alongside the fans just to feel part of it. Sadly, my Hearts daft brother recently passed away under tragic circumstances, and I just wish Andrew was here so we could both stand in that very spot on Gorgie Road tonight as we did decades ago. Thank you Del, and the team, for giving us a season that we could never have imagined in our wildest dreams. No matter what happens this week you’ve done us all proud. ♥️ #Hearts

My 5 year old boy does football training. At the end of the session they do a ‘man of the match’ type thing. My boy is always desperate to win it. He often doesn’t. I explained to him the other day that he didn’t win simply because he wasn’t good enough. That he deffo could win, but he just needs to be better, try harder, be more focused etc. One of the other mums heard me & was aghast at what I said. She told me she is going to get ‘runner-up stickers’ for all the kids who don’t make it. I said no thanks, not for my son. Kids need to learn that they can be the best, but they must apply themselves & dust themselves off when it doesn’t go their way. No consolation prizes, no ‘everyone’s a winner’ etc. There are winners & losers. Wanna win - do your best. Can’t make it? Don’t worry, go & smash something else. Play to your strengths & never, ever play the victim. If more parents & institutions had this attitude, the country would be in a better place - if I say so myself 😉 Cc @KonstantinKisin x.com/KonstantinKisi…

@JohnSwinney You've a barefaced cheek to mention democracy. Ignoring almost 400k Scots simply because they voted Reform - you're a disgrace to the office of First Minister.

As these tough election results come in, we thank and pay tribute to our councillors who have served their communities brilliantly for many years. The last thing the British people need now is Labour turning inward and losing focus on them. Keir Starmer won a huge mandate less than two years ago. Now we must get on with delivering change faster for the British people.
