To escape persecution, he led a migration to Abyssinia (Ethiopia), seeking refuge under a Christian King. He converted and died in Ethiopia as a follower of Christ.

Spanking children is a sure way to teach them that sexual abuse is okay. There is nothing normal about pulling down the pants of child and hitting them in the behind while they scream no and try to get away. You’re teaching them that no matter how loud they scream and how much they cry and try to get away that they have to just take it. See how that mimics rape. And even worse, parents will tell their kids “I love you” right after. Teaching children that their abusers can love them still. Then people will deadass have the nerve to be confused as to why adults get into abuse cycles that literally mimic the same abuse that their parents inflicted upon them.

When I was a Muslim, I genuinely believed that anyone who followed any religion other than Islam would go to hell. I used to mock other faiths and their gods without hesitation, considering myself and my fellow Muslims superior to everyone else. I was also strongly opposed to women’s rights. I believed they had no business stepping out of the house and should remain confined indoors.
Then, I decided to study other religions with an open mind. As I read their holy scriptures, I found nothing that aligned with the negative portrayals or warnings I had been taught in Islam. This honest exploration eventually led me to leave the faith.
Looking back, I realize how deeply Islam had radicalized me during that period of my life.

@SaP011 Welcoming people, some members of the Sikh community go out and feed the homeless here in the city with fresh cooked meals. I personally went to school with alot of Sikh lads and went to their houses after school for dinner and their families welcomed me with open arms.
