Witnesses said dozens of gunmen arrived in trucks, announced an aid registration over loudspeakers, gathered residents in a cattle hut in Pankor, bound several men’s hands, and opened fire, killing up to 22 people, including women and children. Ayod County’s government-appointed commissioner blamed Agwelek militia fighters, said some had been arrested and disarmed, and disputed that victims were tricked with aid. Full report from AP is linked in reply.
