In the local Spoons, drinking the unlimited coffees, awaiting a call from the estate agents to say I can collect keys. I’d have started on the beers if I didn’t have the car with me 😂

@chewytheleftie When did it become Eos “classic”? That makes me feel old! I remember starting at the young Vic in 2007 and we were awaiting arrival of the first gen eos and a pair of ions to replace the strand 520i, strand 300, and Arri Mirage.

Buying a house should not be as stressful as estate agents and solicitors somehow manage to make it. In no other business is it acceptable to work at the pace of the slowest person and not set any deadlines.

@Deliveroo @DeliverooHelp I did not receive my entire order - only 5 of 9 burgers chips and drinks. You won’t refund it unless I get the five who already ate to regurgitate the food so that I can send you a photo of the actual food - pictures of the wrapped up food aren’t enough!

@Depheruk What areas do you cover? We are buying a house in BL5 and will be looking to get a new boiler fitted at some point this year.

Not every job that you quote for ends up happening, but today I drew up a pretty crazy stage for a client and I really would love to see this one built. A big, fiddly, multi level stage using loadsa deck in loadsa shapes and sizes - a @steeldeck rentals speciality!

I still get to do a bit of work with theatres, alongside concerts, events, sport, conferences, exhibitions and everything that Steeldeck do. I’m happier, and even though it gets busy over the summer, I’m never doing the kind of hours that I was in theatre. 2/3

Pay, hours, and conditions all need addressing to retain and recruit a backstage workforce. I couldn’t start a family working in theatre in London. I left and we moved to Manchester. Now we have a 5 month old baby and are buying a house. 1/3
