📝🆓 MLB Play 👉 Griffin Jax (Rays) under 9.5 outs (Can currently get u10.5 CZR/MGM/365) Griffin Jax continues his progression towards possibly becoming a starter for the Rays moving forward. Last week when we backed his under 0.5 earned runs, he saw a season high 2.2IP and 45 pitches (previous high was 31 pitches). The Rays are known to take it SLOW with their starters, so I’m expecting a 50 pitch cap and likely a 3 inning limit unless he’s lightning efficient For his career, he avg 16.25 pitches per inning, and he’s averaging ~19 pitches per inning this season. If he went 3 innings, that would put him between 48-57 pitches Boston sees the 5th fewest pitches per plate appearance at 3.8. 3 innings of work likely results in Jax facing 12-13 batters, which would equate to 45-50 pitches, right where I have his cap being Really, all it takes is one 20+ pitch inning and we should be good here. He’ll have to be pretty efficient to pitch into the 4th, and even if he makes it to the 4th… there’s NO guarantee he gets that first out of the inning (he likely gets pulled after the first batter, MAYBE second)

I know this is irrational, but I’m actually angry at how good Zverev’s serve is in these Madrid conditions. Inexcusable that he’s going to lose to summer 6-2/6-3 with this weapon.

@MattyChucks But what if they’re a #3 hitter on a Thursday at the end of April with 72 degree weather playing a day game against a pitcher they’ve never faced coming off a loss? 60% of the time it works every time

Idk who needs to hear this but if you’re placing bets on players for Home Runs based on their “spot in the lineup” you shouldn’t be gambling 😂
