There is such a a massive gulf between Western discourse about the war in Gaza, and reality.
A lot of people in the West wrongly think that Israel was fighting a one sided war against civilians.
They totally ignore the choices of Hamas in starting and continuing the war.

It's amazing how many people treat "supporting the Netanyahu government's current plan" as synonymous with "supporting Israel." One can absolutely support the effort to defeat and dismantle Hamas without supporting Netanyahu's chosen tactics. This is the strongest argument for implementing rank choice voting, it encourages people to align naturally and cooperatively while also advocating for the issues they believe in and not having to give up their first choice.
