Because a suspect is going through the court system, the law states that they are innocent until proven guilty of the charges. The reason the police have categorically asked people not to speculate is to avoid jeopardising the trial, which could result in a mistrial.
This is exactly why you shouldn't be anywhere near government. All you Reform muppets seem to do is ignore the law, speculate, and promote conspiracy theories. Potential jurors could read the nonsense that Reform members are putting out about the case and form opinions before seeing the actual evidence presented in court. Either you already know this and are choosing to be wilfully ignorant for the benefit of Reform voters, or you don't know and are simply outright stupid.

Sky News have been exposed for lying after @Nigel_Farage published the footage.
There is never an excuse for targeting the children of politicians.
Their pathetic defence was that Nigel wasn’t answering questions… when they knew he was out of the country meeting the Vice President of America.
They then hosted Adam Boulton to defend Sky’s behaviour on air.
Who is he? A close friend of Peter Mandelson whose wife was a senior advisor to Tony Blair and who has just been made a peer by Keir Starmer.
This is the type of media organisation that Lisa Nandy wants to give privileged status to.
It’s all a cosy club.
But it won’t wash anymore.
