Make your Air India Express seat selection process a whole lot easier 👇 💺 Before you call to reserve your seats…. 1️⃣ Visit the AI Express website 2️⃣ Go to your booked flight (try to book the same flight via revenue, take the process ahead till seat selection) 3️⃣ Check the seats available beforehand and shortlist what you like 👩‍💼 When they ask you for your seat preference on call, you can give them your seat number/s of choice, instead of asking what all is available. This saves a lot of time, and gets you the seats you prefer 👍

@IamSathish_Ind I gave them my preferred seat numbers and the agent just blocked them for me. I was expecting them to charge me by sending a payment link but they told me it was free.

Booked 8 Award tickets on Air India Express via Air India 🛫 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 2x 4 passengers (round trip) • Tried to select the seats (Manage Booking) on the Air India and AI Express websites… not possible ❌ • Called Air India and they connected me to the AI Express call centre ✅ 🆓 8 seats, over two flights, booked for free over call • Flex and Standard Front seats • Actual cost of these seats on my route are Rs 1,445 & Rs 343 per seat respectively 💰 🌟 Note • Could update Maharaja Club status for us on the Air India app/website • The Air India PNR and AI Express PNR for this booking are different • Not able to enjoy Maharaja Club Gold benefits on AI Express flights yet, I was informed.

Conservatively speaking, depending on the room type a 3N stay at Oberoi can cost about 1.5-2L, including F&B. Much more if heading there for a celebration. So don’t see the expiry as an issue. 2 trips in a year would burn the credits. Also, the people they are targeting with this offer are someone who will not have any issues burning more than 4L within a year at their hotels.

@milespointspro The validity of the 4L credit is only for 12months & it's a hard validity. Unlike other loyalty programs in which the validity increases as per your Stay. That's the main disadvantage IMO - one will be stuck to use the 4L credits within a year.

Have to compare on case by case basis. • Some rooms on 40% discount • 20% savings on Suites • 40k extra credits on purchase worth 4L. • Additional offers for Oberoi Select customers. • Plus there would be extra perks due to Gold and Platinum status. • Plus savings on F&B which is a big expense during stays. So have to compare and see. One thing to note is that we do not know which hotels/rooms offer 40% discount. So will have to connect with Oberoi customer care on that. P.S. Amex offer also gets 15,000 Yatra voucher. But 2+1 may not be there on all properties or room types if I’m correct.
