Anyone who thinks the atrocity in Kings Heath today where a car mowed down a kid on a crossing was a one off. Here is the pedestrian crossing near another school just now. Children cowering in fear rightly afraid to cross on green man as CAR AFTER CAR runs the red light.

@gardensinboots @LizClements @cummins23 Expect the traffic on Yardley Wood Road to significantly increase when Phase 2 of the Kings Heath LTN is installed later this year (additional closures on the east side of the High Street). Sadly, the LTN scheme you + Liz Clements support!😒

Thank you @LizClements for coming to our walkabout (in my case hobble about 😂) to look at traffic issues on Yardley Wood Rd this morning. Also thanks to the engineers who attended. It was useful to highlight & discuss some of the limitations and consider alternative solutions.

It wouldn't be a weekend without some Kings Heath drama. 🍿 I've been told rumour Mark Hudson resigned as secretary of Kings Heath Business Association are true. But he then unresigned. He's showing his commitment by randomly review bombing KHBA members who were rude to him.

@LabourFiles @WoodinRivers @BhamCityCouncil @OurSceneCIC @BrumLabour I was simply going to attend this event as an opportunity to engage with other fellow litterpickers and members of the community. I had not hitherto advertised my presence at this event and any suggestion that I am "using" the event for any other purpose is absurd.

Councillor Lisa Trickett and I are delighted that Brandwood and Kings Heath will be getting an extra £20,000 from Birmingham City Council to fund projects in our community.
