The traveling check woke up from a long, brutal winter and made it its first appearance of the year today. The @DukeEnergy Foundation is pleased to partner with the @scflorencecity by providing funds to support 2 tree giveaway events, one in April and one in the fall. 🌳

Lighthouse Ministries in @scflorencecity does such a great job helping members of our community. Today, @DukeEnergy is here participating in their First Friday resource fair.

The traveling big check went Marion to present a $5,000 @DukeEnergy Foundation check to the City of Marion to purchase benches for their downtown and $5,000 to the @MarionCountySch to support their robotics team. Happy Holidays! 🎄

On this #GivingTuesday the @DukeEnergy Foundation finishes a month-long campaign to grant $600,000 across SC to help address food insecurity in the communities we serve. My Brother's Keeper & Sisters4TheFuture are 2 of the organizations who received grants to support this effort.

I am thankful I don’t have to worry where my next meal will come from. That’s why I was so excited to see my friend, Melinda Waddell, and present a @DukeEnergy Foundation grant for $11,000 to The Manna House in Florence,SC.

Today, this awesome group of @DukeEnergy employees volunteered at Help 4 Kids in @scflorencecity and packed 600 food bags in a little over an hour. We also presented a $10,000 Duke Energy Foundation grant to help with food insecurity needs for our school children.

It’s been a busy week! It is always special to see my friend, Linda Mitchell Johnson, and provide a @DukeEnergy Foundation grant to support the Senior Citizens Association in Florence County Meals on Wheels program.

My heart is overflowing! I spent the morning with my @DukeEnergy teammates & community members packing 200 FoodShare boxes. These boxes were donated to non-profits to share with those in need. This is part of a month-long focus on feeding programs by the Duke Energy Foundation.

It was a sunshine day 😎 and was topped off by presenting a @DukeEnergy Foundation grant to support the Marion County Council on Aging Meals on Wheels program.

Started the Certificate in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution today at @francismarionu today. My boss suggested I take the course… wonder what she’s trying to tell me? 🤔😀

I LOVE being able to support programs that help our children. Thankful the @DukeEnergy Foundation provided this grant to Miss Ruby's Kids to support their Little Library free books program in Andrews.
