महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने राज्य में बैन की गई बाइक टैक्सियों पर सख्ती बरतते हुए गूगल (Google) और एप्पल (Apple) को चिट्ठी लिखी है और उबर, ओला और रेपिडो जैसे एप्स को अपने एप स्टोर से हटाने को कहा है। महाराष्ट्र साइबर डिपार्टमेंट का कहना है कि बिना मंजूरी वाले बाइक टैक्सी ऑपरेशन पैसेंजर की सुरक्षा के लिए एक गंभीर खतरा हैं। महाराष्ट्र साइबर के एडिशनल डायरेक्टर जनरल ऑफ पुलिस ने इन टेक दिग्गज कंपनियों को चिट्ठी में लिखा, 'यह देखा गया है कि कुछ एप-बेस्ड प्लेटफॉर्म बिना सही परमिशन, सरकारी मंजूरी या ट्रांसपोर्ट डिपार्टमेंट के तय नियमों और मोटर व्हीकल्स एक्ट के प्रावधानों का पालन किए बिना, बाइक टैक्सी ऑपरेशन के जरिए बड़े पैमाने पर पैसेंजर ट्रांसपोर्ट सर्विस चला रहे हैं।' इसके अलावा, ऐसी बाइक टैक्सी ऑपरेशन में आम तौर पर होने वाली तेज और लापरवाही भरी ड्राइविंग से आम लोगों की सुरक्षा को काफी खतरा पैदा होता है। राज्य सरकार ने बताया, 'हाल ही में एक गंभीर घटना सामने आई जिसमें इनमें से किसी एक एप के जरिए चलाई जा रही बाइक टैक्सी सर्विस की वजह से एक महिला की मौत हो गई। विभाग ने जोर देकर कहा कि ऐसी बाइक टैक्सी सर्विस मुख्य रूप से पैसे कमाने के लिए चलाई जा रही हैं, जबकि वे राज्य के कानूनी ढांचे की अनदेखी कर रही हैं। इसलिए उसने कंपनियों से कहा कि वे Apple App Store और Google Play Store से इन एप्स को हटा दें और उन तक लोगों की पहुंच बंद कर दें। सरकार ने नोटिस में वॉर्निंग देते हुए लिखा, 'आपको चेतावनी दी जाती है कि अगर समय पर कार्रवाई न करने की वजह से कोई भी गैर-कानूनी या नुकसान पहुंचाने वाली घटना होती है, तो उसके लिए आपको ही जिम्मेदार ठहराया जाएगा।' महाराष्ट्र के परिवहन मंत्री प्रताप सरनाइक ने शनिवार को साइबर डिपार्टमेंट को निर्देश दिया कि वे राज्य में बाइक टैक्सी ऑपरेशन चलाने के लिए Ola, Uber और Rapido के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज करें। सोशल मीडिया पर ऐसी खबरें चल रही थीं कि इन एप-बेस्ड एग्रीगेटर्स की सर्विसें महाराष्ट्र में पूरी तरह से बंद कर दी गई हैं। वहीं महाराष्ट्र के सूचना और जनसंपर्क महानिदेशालय (DGIPR) ने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म एक्स पर पोस्ट शेयर करते हुए सरकार का रुख साफ किया। महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने साफ किया, 'सरकार की कार्रवाई सिर्फ गैर-कानूनी बाइक टैक्सी ऑपरेशन तक ही सीमित है। सोशल मीडिया पर चल रहा यह दावा कि महाराष्ट्र में Ola, Uber और Rapido की सभी सेवाएं पूरी तरह से बंद कर दी गई हैं, ये बात भ्रम फैलाने वाली है।' #MaharashtraGovt #Mumbai #BikeTaxiBan #OlaRapidoUber #DainikJagran
