There’s a class action lawsuit waiting to happen with @uber on location spying. I drove a friend to the airport, I am not sharing my location with uber, the app is not open, and it sent me a push notification welcoming me to the airport. This should be illegal. I have Instagram, google maps, YouTube, camera, ChatGPT, telegram, messages, and google sheets active as apps on my phone. One of these is selling Uber my location data, or their app is subverting my choice to not have my location tracked.
