@tomwhx I've seen the excuse given. I still don't agree.
1, It's not the MP's place to demand Reform members denounce people he doesn't like.
2, There were surely people in his meeting that were also not constituents and there's no way he's checking on the door that they are.

I'm obviously no fan of Reform but this is out of order and it needs to stop.

Statement from Cllr Samantha Gethen: I was asked to leave a SEND community roundtable this morning - not for causing disruption, but because the local Conservative MP, @bhatti_saqib, refused to begin the meeting until I left. I attend North Solihull’s SEND support group as a parent of children with SEND. Yes, I am also an elected Reform councillor - but today I attended as a mother wanting to discuss support for children and families. Rather than allow the meeting to become uncomfortable for the organisers or other parents attending, I chose to leave out of respect for them, and for the significant time and effort that had gone into organising the event for local SEND families. Their priorities should always come before any attempt by the local MP to ostracise me because of my political affiliation. It is deeply disappointing that a non-political family event was turned into a political issue. Excluding a SEND parent from a conversation about their child’s future is wrong. SEND families deserve to be heard, regardless of politics.

It should be easy to catch fare dodgers at Snow Hill. Kids push past the barriers and the guard, but there’s *always* @BrumCityWMP parked outside. The guard @WestMidRailway could radio the police and by the time they get to the entrance they’re waiting, but it doesn’t happen.

@currys I’ve been in tears today about how bad your customer service is. I’ve not had a working fridge for 2 weeks since it arrived and have been told it’s another week and a day for an exchange but if I wanted to order a new one online it could come in 2 days. 🤔

The Club has issued the following update about supporter conduct.
Birmingham City has a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, discriminatory or anti-social behaviour inside or around our stadium. The Club is aware of allegations made on social media following today’s match.
Club officials have begun an internal review of the matter, and Portsmouth have also been contacted as part of this process. Once the full facts have been established, Birmingham City will take the appropriate action in line with the Club’s policies and values.
