I just had the worst #customersupport experience of my life with @EversourceCT - No power. No help. After waiting on hold for hours. Meanwhile the@eversourcect tech at our doorstep was specifically told not to help us. I can't imagine how to provide worse customer experience.

A couple SVB thoughts. 1. 250k is too low. It's insane that a small company with say 2.5m in payables and payroll at the end of the month should be "prudent" and split their cash across 10 banks in case of a run. The fees and admin would be crazy. But great for banks

The tragedy of SVB is that its not the wealthy taking the hit. It's the thousands of companies who borrowed from SVB and were required to keep their cash in SVB. Those entrepreneurs and their employees and vendors are feeling the pain. And they are who the Fed should protect
