@JonBuildsHQ the “why now” one is what most people skip. easy to say what it is, the real challenge is getting someone to act today

The 3 questions every landing page must answer in 5 seconds: -What is this? -Who is it for? -Why should I care right now? Most landing pages fail at this and are leaving money on the table 💰

your hero says “the unified platform for go-to..…” they scroll. still no idea what you sell. landing pages shouldn’t read like pitch decks. the landing page is for explaining the value. the pitch deck is for selling the vision.

updated the pixel tool again to make the logo feel a little more delightful now supports animated snippet export, so the marks can reveal themselves through random pixels instead of just sitting there as static shapes #buildinpublic
Mona@mona_biasia

built a small pixel lissajous svg generator today lissajous-svg-export.surge.sh using it to explore new directions for intelligence logo... really like the feeling when the pixels stop being static and start moving made with @claude + @impeccable, 100% AI #buildinpublic

In today’s @motiondotdev session, I tried building a morphing modal for a calendar interaction. The fun part was thinking less about "open a modal" and more about "zoom into this event" while keeping the user oriented in the calendar. The design inspiration is from tryanchor.app designed by @PludaAlex.

Without AI, I genuinely don’t think I could juggle: - Full-time job as an architect - Ad-hoc Developer freelancing - Building SaaS and online products - Maintaining a 1700s house AI doesn’t remove the work. It removes enough friction to make the work possible.

i built 3 projects with cursor and claude in 2 month. and i'll tell you exactly how i made sure it actually taught me something instead of just producing output. from day one i had one rule. if i couldn't explain a line of code, i wouldn't move past it. i'd ask, break it, rebuild it, until it made sense. that single habit is the reason i can look at any part of my codebase today and tell you exactly what it does and why. vibe coding works. but only if you treat the ai like a teacher, not a printer. the founders winning with these tools aren't the ones moving the fastest. they're the ones who are actually paying attention while they move.
