Reddit father says son who is — #1/476 in high school — 1580/1600 on SAT — 5/5 on 18 APs got rejected by all the Ivies for CS. Only got UMass Amherst. It's college season and this is the #1 post last week on r/ApplyingToCollege. Competition is fine, but this just feels unfair.

Academics are the bare minimum. The story you tell in your personal statement and essays get you in and aligns with the type of student the university seeks. One lesson this exceptional yet clearly entitled child can learn now, is "You don't always get what you want when you want it."

I agree. If the reporter got such high security information on an accidental thread, then why the heck would he release it to the world rather than keep it between those involved. I think this reporter needs investigated at to why he felt it should be “ breaking news” on all all news outlets if he thought it was that “ classified”.

I wholeheartedly and completely trust the judgment of my friend @TulsiGabbard and always have. I continue to believe that she is hands down the best person America has serving in the administration to keep our homeland safe. We are truly so lucky to have her serving as our DNI.

It takes two people working 2 full time jobs just to pay bills at that point. Those same states do not have public transportation. No car means no job...

For the rest of my life, I will never understand how a country full of people busting their asses, working paycheck to paycheck, allow the fucking richest guy on Earth to call them "parasites" while calling the Social Security we contributed to our entire lives "a Ponzi scheme."
