Official statement by @beirasplace on @AmnestyUK's recent climbdown. "Beira’s Place acknowledges the apology published by Amnesty International together with the undertaking to commission an independent external review into how two reports containing such false and harmful allegations could be published and promoted in its name. The permanent removal of both reports is a tacit acceptance that they contained allegations which were false and defamatory of a large number of organisations which it classed as ‘gender critical'. While the apology is welcomed it does not rectify the reputational damage caused to Beira’s Place. In particular the apology fails to recognise that those most severely impacted are the staff who work day in day out to support survivors of sexual violence and the many women who need and use the service. Although the apology extends to those groups classed as 'gender critical' it is noteworthy that many other organisations were wrongly defamed by Amnesty in both reports forsimply upholding the protected belief that sex is real, immutable and important in many areas of life. Those organisations also deserve a written apology."

your statement is factually wrong and dangerously misleading. Puberty blockers in the NHS trial are:
Evidence‑based: Already used for decades in precocious puberty with good safety data.
Reversible: They pause puberty; they do not cause cross‑sex changes and are stopped if not clinically appropriate.
Tightly regulated: Access is via specialist multidisciplinary teams, psychological assessment, strict eligibility criteria, and ongoing monitoring.
Trial‑based: The whole point of the trial is to collect high‑quality data on outcomes, risks, and benefits under strict ethical oversight.
Calling this “child abuse” ignores safeguarding reality:
Abuse is coercion, neglect, or harm.
This is consented, clinically supervised care designed to reduce distress and risk, not create it.

If you try and differentiate between him and a trans woman who looks more convincing as a woman, you are promoting patriarchal beauty norms. If you’re righteous, you must argue that this man’s self-declared identity overrides any consideration of the safety and rights of females. To be godly, you must agree he’s as ‘valid’ as every other trans woman, because people are who they say they are. No matter what your eyes, ears and common sense are telling you, if you don’t want to end up on the wrong side of history, you must pretend to believe that this angry, intimidating man is actually a vulnerable, oppressed woman.
