Steely Dan is one of my favorite bands. I can’t quite understand why people would hate such beautifully and lovingly made music. Is it a “try hard” thing? Even if it’s bad, why bother noticing it? Ah well, good times! ❤️

Can you develop a food sensitivity in your 40s? Whenever I eat pizza my stomach goes crazy the next day. If I eat Mac n cheese it goes crazy a few hours later. Other gluten (red sauce pasta) and or dairy (ice cream) is no effect. Weird right?

@RyanJones It’s not just what’s on the plug, it’s what’s all plugged into that circuit the plug is a part of. If it’s important enough to have a battery backup, you could look into an electrician running a maybe 20amp line for just your computer stuff.

On the wall behind me is a 2 prong outlet. One plug has my laser printer plugged into it. The other has a 625V battery backup with ONLY a router and modem plugged into that. Every time I print, the battery backup turns off and beeps causing the internet to go out. WTF?

How I feel writing the contents of someone’s birthday card when I haven’t used a pen in months. What even is handwriting anymore?

Last election I voted in the evening and I was voter 600 something in my village. This one, I voted at noon and I was voter 1500 something. Some great turnout today - especially with our state reps (repubs) on the ballot unopposed (🫤) - suggests tight race for gov & senate.
