@ScCardoz Khangress settled kukis in Manipur to make Hindu meiteis into a minority community. Tell entire truth. Don’t be selective to suit your agenda

@gemsofbabus_ @VikingRagnarL I laugh at plight of the people of UP to get such a minister and then they go to pray before him regarding their issues, who mocks on them by shouting jai shri ram, har har mahadev, jai bajrangbali.
The man is least bothered, Yogiji must kick him out of his position.
English

Came across this video of Uttar Pradesh Energy Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma.
People are saying, “Sir, 24 hours mein sirf 3 ghante bijli aa rahi hai.”
Instead of addressing power outage complaints, he chanted “Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bajrang Bali” and drove away.
Smart meters paused after backlash. Power cuts unanswered.
Sir, you were an IAS officer. Is this governance or escape route?

A Hindu girl was forced to remove her Kanthi (Tulsi) mala during the NEET exam in Surat. Her father courageously protested: “I am the son of a Hindu and I am standing in Surat, not in Lahore, Karachi, or Pakistan." He said — "You people cannot remove hijab and burqa, but you have the guts to remove the Tulsi mala from my daughter’s neck!”

Shudras were not only students but were well established teachers in Hindu schools, teaching every caste
This was recorded even by the British in their surveys.
Hindu Vedic system was educating women even during the time of Panini.
Now hold ur ears & apologise for lying.

Sangita@Sanginamby
I’m sure if low caste or tribal women of those days had the same privileges and access to education there would have been many graduating with her. What’s actually sad is that you choose to see caste in this day and age.

Ruk jaa bhai. So much misinformation will give everyone diarrhea.
- Sati went to the Daksha Yajna despite Shiva pleading her not to. She went there with the intent of teaching her father a lesson and showed what she was prepared to do for her husband's honour. Shiva then showed what he was prepared to do for his wife - destroy the world if need be. It was then that Daksha knew Shiva's true power.
- Rama respected Sita so much that he never sought another woman in his life even though he could. He was loyal and faithful. The agnipariksha was Rama prioritising his duty as a king over his duty as a husband, because a king has to be a moral paragon for his whole kingdom, while a husband only for his family. The law in Rama's time required that if wives eloped with other men, their husbands would have the right to divorce them, and seek other women. Rama as a husband knew his wife was pure and innocent, as he mentions in the Yuddha kanda of the Ramayana, but as a king and a judge, he had to let Sita demonstrate her innocence to the whole world. This is the same logic a judge would use if they personally knew the accused was innocent - let the trial happen, and let the accused prove her innocence.
- yes the five husbands of Draupadi utterly failed to protect her because of their misplaced sense of dharma. And Krishna proved that he was the antima bandhava (the ultimate friend and protector). When even your nearest and dearest ones fail, he comes in to help.
- Vishnu's wife sits at his feet out of love. Prakriti nurtures Purusha and there is no diminution in that, just like there isn't any diminution in Purusha (Shiva) completely and unconditionally surrendering to Prakriti (Kali) when she is agitated and enraged. Only through that complete surrender is the devastating Kali restored to the nurturing Gauri. Didn't see you mention that.
- Ahilya was not tricked by Indra. In the Ramayana, where this legend is from, she knew that Indra had come as Gautama, because Gautama was very particular about his timings for intimacy. Yet, out of curiosity, she wanted to experience Indra. So it was consensual. Gautama was right to curse her adulterous wife and her lover.

Devi ji, 500 years ago, "flying vehicles", "bows shooting fire", "a divine weapon that vaporizes a whole army" and "man on the moon" were literal mythology. Today they are everyday realities. There is not a single story, however fantastic, that is entirely made up and not founded on a core of truth. Hence, never dismiss mythology as false. Mythology is history dressed in metaphor and the tools of the story-teller. I recommend reading the Life of Pi (not merely watching the movie) which shows this beautiful connection between reality and mythology.
I am not glorifying pati parameshwar system. Have I written a single line in support of women touching their husbands' feet? I belong to the "यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवताः" mindset, but I will not let Machiavellian attitudes have the final say on this.
Why do you need to look at Japan and South Korea?Even in India, there are millions of families where groom and bride have equal respect for each other, both work and have equal professional and academic credentials. Dowry system is punishable by law and if the fathers of brides were not so steeped in that guilt themselves, it would have long disappeared. Maybe women should take a stand and dissuade their lovers from asking for dowry and their fathers from offering it.
