@flyosity liquid glass in general was a bad idea and apple just never admits mistakes. they will slowly morph and backtrack it and provide customizations until they are ready to transition to their next big thing.

The way that Apple doesn't care about all the little flashes within this small iOS interaction bothers me immensely
Apple's software interactions used to be state of the art, the envy of all product designers
Now they're so janky I can't bring myself to use them in my app

@ios_dev_alb By moving .confirmationDialog() to a button in the navigation bar we can get this effect:

@realsimpleone @MacRumors i gave up after waiting for more than a year and just got the latest one we have right now. unless they stop supporting the 2022 model with tvOS27 or more there is really no reason to buy a new model

@tomaszkorolko @aaronp613 i honestly just bought one after the announcement week. 💀💀💀💀
English

@aaronp613 I hope it comes out this year. This is the only Apple product I’m currently waiting for.
English

@ScottArbeit definitely not nitpicking but i hope the team focuses on building actual native Windows apps. i can’t believe macOS have a native Outlook app and Windows have a web app. that is crazy!!!

I was part of the small group in Seattle that Pavan mentioned in the blog post.
The Windows team is deeply aware of the criticisms, the importance of making Windows amazing for developers, and the need to smooth out the UX. They're engaged, and better things are coming.

@jensenje @WindowsLatest and asking to subscribe to microsoft 365 every 3 days in a full screen setup 😵💫😵💫
English

@WindowsLatest Remove the constant harassment of backing up to OneDrive! I said NO once, then again, then again. Stop asking! I know how to turn it on if I want it!
English

@durreadan01 it was annoying as hell, and not to mention the two X button one to clear and one to cancel the search entirely.
there is also no point in making that search button separate as like every other tabs. its a page of its own ahyway
English

@OutofGalaxyy i fucking hate this thing. why can’t this be inside Settings? no one in this world needs to customize their lock screen on the spot.
i personally change it probably at max 2x a year
English

@Andrew_OSU with the AirPods Max 2 announcement, i just hate the fact that they will drop a new Apple TV 4K wheN I LITERALLY JUST BOUGHT 1 AFTER LAST WEEK’S ANNOUNCEMENT
English

@oxfus now i’m afraid we will finally get an upgraded Apple TV 4K after i literally just got one lmaooo
English

@XenoPanther 1. is to make an actual native windows application and not all these web in app wrapper bs.

It's a nice start but imo in a perfect world MS' brief plan would be this
1: Reduce AI bloat across the OS (I'm looking at you Notepad and Paint)
2: Improve the UX from user feedback
3: Make the OS more stable and increase testing to reduce major bugs seen in recent updates

It looks like Microsoft has shelved plans to bring Copilot to areas of the Windows 11 shell like notifications and the Settings app. These experiences were originally unveiled in 2024, but never arrived. I understand that the company is looking to reduce AI bloat across the OS this year, and part of that effort includes reevaluating where Copilot buttons appear in system apps and interfaces. windowscentral.com/microsoft/wind…

@privatetalky polished titanium. i wish they bring the iPhone Air aesthetics to the Pro lineup, its just the best thing to do. the current aluminum pro iphone is just not it
English

@velozjuan21 @themohitrohilla @Bhavani_00007 so useful! what a steal thats part of my creative cloud
English

@themohitrohilla @Bhavani_00007 Does Ai mean “Artificial Intelligence”? and what does Xd means?
English

@Bhavani_00007 Adobe wins this, every single icon tells you exactly what the app does and still looks beautiful

@LuftkoppTim cause of the tech twitter claiming iPad to be a computer. when it doesn’t have a good actual desktop apps that you can use. iPad is meant to be a larger canvas for apps and not to open 500 apps at once. it just doesn’t work.
i immediately turned off multitasking after updating
English

Even during each WWDC you can clearly see how much Apple fucked up iPadOS by killing the focus the iPad should get.
2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 all showed the preview of iPadOS by actually using the touchscreen. The only exception being a short chat when Craig used the keyboard in 2022.
And in 2025? It changed. All showcases about the new navigation with windows and such was showed using the keyboard and trackpad. Because if they used touch they would've seen how dogshit stuff like the menu bar is. Because it forces you to swipe down twice Every. Single. Time. You want to open the notifications.
You can't continuously swipe down like you can when swiping up to close an app or bring up the dock. You HAVE to swipe twice.
And it's little things like this that just fucks the entire experience.
Oh and no, "just switch to the fullscreen option" is NOT a solution because it straight up kills the multitasking that made the iPad SO good to begin with. No Slide Over. No Splitscreen.
For me, iPadOS 26 is by far the worst of all 26 updates. It's not close. Because the others at least still work as before for the most part. The iPad doesn't.

@TheRichWoods meanwhile, picking a windows laptop is comparing 500 different things and specs
English

@TheRichWoods on the other hand, there are people who doesn’t care about the specs and they dont care about price as long as they get the color they want. like iPhone Pro Max users mostly get it because of the limited edition color for the year.
